Senior Tech Project Manager

We are looking for a driven, talented Sr. Technical Project Manager who will lead large and complex Supply Chain and logistics initiatives across several channels and partners for the Fanatics Global Supply Chain Network. The global network is comprised of a variety and expanding list of fulfillment and logistics solutions. This role boasts responsibility for the execution of large scale and concurrent programs that will optimize current and new operations, launch brown and green field facilities, and allow us to fulfill orders with rapid speed and efficiency. You will work to help implement a suite of solutions that enhance our operational capabilities including WMS, WES, ASRS, WCS, PLC, manufacturing, GTP and robotic automation, CMS, and TMS systems. The ideal candidate has a track record of successfully managing complex technical projects in the Supply Chain domain with experience in implementing internal and external technologies as part of the primary project deliverables. They are also attuned to managing budgets, requirements, timelines, success

metrics, and stakeholder relationships and expectations through utilization of a deep skillset in Program Management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilites

  • Lead the launch of technologies and capabilities that expand and support our Global Supply Chain and Logistics Network

  • Drive the definition of program success, on-going prioritization, deliverable timelines, and trade-off discussions

  • Help to organize, manage, and track tech releases coinciding with facility buildouts and/or external partner timelines through a combination of waterfall and agile methodologies

  • Manage external vendors and internal cross-functional teams on large, complex technology implementation projects

  • Scope, schedule, manage, track, and report on large cross-functional projects

  • Build project charters and schedules based on the capacities of the supply chain tech team, dependencies on partnering tech teams deliverables, dependencies on vendor work and deliverables, Ops requirements and schedules, and business initiatives and priorities

  • Manage project work and meet timelines while meeting production needs across a global omnichannel network

  • Manage expectations of a variety of stakeholders and relationships between the

  • Tech, Ops/Supply Chain, Traffic, and Business teams; frequently meet with Ops leadership to review progress; maintain alignment with product managers and engineering leaders on initiatives and priorities

  • Communicate strategy and program status at an executive level

Basic Qualifications

  • 5-10 years managing programs in the Supply Chain domain with proven experience in successfully implementing a broad range of warehouse and logistics technologies

  • Strong technical understanding and ability to develop strong and effective relationships with both engineers and operators

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to produce data-backed arguments and presentations

  • Self-driven and confident in making autonomous decisions that will ensure success or keep a project on track, and maintaining accountability for those decisions

  • Requires occasional travel to our other offices or new launch sites in (and possibly outside of) the U.S.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or MS degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Computer Science

  • Experience with JIRA and/or Trello

  • Experience with emerging supply chain technologies, especially Warehouse

  • Execution Systems and automation
