Senior SEO Manager

Role Description

As the Senior SEO Manager you are responsible for all on-page and off-page activities on our website.

The Senior SEO manager works closely with the Editors, Head of SEO and the stakeholders, and is responsible for continuous increase in rankings and traffic.

It is expected that the SEO Manager is not only managing but also a frontrunner for hands-on on-page optimisations, link building etc.

Core Tasks

• Work with the off-page team to ensure high-quality link building to key pages

• Conduct keyword analysis and create content plans

• Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and content to improve user experience and search engine visibility.

• Continuously analyze and adjust SEO strategies based on industry trends, algorithm updates, and search engine best practices

• Create and optimize internal and external links

• Create competitor benchmark analysis, both on-page and off-page

• Identify opportunities for building high-quality content and its optimisation

Secondary Tasks

• Assists news editors and evergreen content editors with content optimisation and additional opportunities discover

Describe your ideal person 

• Strong technical knowledge

• 4+ years of SEO experience, with hands-on experience

• Experience and knowledge of igaming

• Experience in the news media or affiliate industry is a plus but not mandatory
