Senior HR Business Partner

What you'll be doing

  • Work at all levels of the HR “stack” — strategic, operational, and tactical, effectively influence all levels of the company, and navigate through ambiguity, recognizing when it is appropriate to introduce more structure and process without derailing current production

  • Manage complex and difficult people projects cross-functionally and with strong oversight/input, provide HR programmatic support and coaching to all levels of the organization

  • Build strong business relationships across all areas of the company to ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment

  • Be a thought leader – speak up, be direct, and challenge when necessary to grow our leaders and the business

  • Manage and facilitate organizational design and development, leadership coaching, and team building that supports change and growth in a predominantly remote-first work environment

  • Execute on talent management strategies to support a team’s growth and individual development plans

  • Proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions

  • Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs

  • Integrate and partner with People/HR colleagues in the Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Programs, and Legal teams to implement solutions and help scale the business

  • Manage and facilitate the Performance Summary Cycle and employee engagement survey throughout the year

  • Participate as an integral member of the extended SaaS and HR Communities

Requirements

  • Successful experience working in a high-growth SaaS company supporting organizations of 200+ people

  • 7+ years of HR Business Partner experience in roles of increasing complexity and scope, partnering directly with senior leaders

  • Experience building and nurturing a thriving company culture in a digital-first company

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues

  • Demonstrated experience across HR disciplines, namely organization development, change management, and employee relations

  • Credibility in communications to ensure information flows bi-directionally across the organization

  • A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations

  • Experienced in organizational design and succession planning (9-box facilitation a plus)

  • Ability to work both tactically and strategically to meet business needs

  • Ability to remain flexible and agile in an ever-changing environment, handle ambiguity with ease, and are committed to lifelong learning

  • Expertise in organizational design and effectiveness, capability building and driving high-performing teams, executive coaching, navigating complex employee relations, and scaling an org with high growth

  • Experience designing, implementing, and leading change management initiatives

  • A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves

  • Business Leader first, HR Professional second: You are not just viewed as the “HR person” in the room. You understand the changing dynamics of the business, how it works, and the implication of that change on the talent as well as the business

  • Be proactive and take initiative- get ahead of problems by anticipating them. Use data to tell the story and make decisions
