We're a fully remote company with a team distributed between Europe, North America, and Asia. As a small but mighty 35-person team, we all wear multiple hats and frequently step outside our job descriptions to achieve our goals.

This is a rare opportunity to join as the first person in sales development at GitBook. Even though we're well established in the market (and profitable), we're early in our sales motions and figuring out pipeline generation is going to be critical to win.

  • Test new playbooks for generating sales pipeline, from idea to execution

  • Prospect into our signups and existing customer base

  • Experiment with targeted outbound to new ICP accounts

  • Educate users on product how-to's and best practices (you will need to be part product specialist)

  • Figure out how to use data to work smart and target the right leads

  • Hustle: You don't give up easily and recognise that sales is always a numbers game to an extent.

  • Eager to learn: Your version of sales is being a helpful expert, and you're hungry to learn about new industries and products.

  • Beginners mindset: You're not afraid to experiment and think outside the box to achieve a goal.
