Head of Sales

About the role

GoLinks is seeking a Head of Sales to drive our sales strategy, grow and manage a high-performing sales team, and execute on top-line growth goals. The ideal candidate will have solid experience leading an early-stage sales team in the SaaS space and an understanding of enterprise sales cycles. They will be results-oriented, data-driven, and possess strong relationship-building skills. This is a critical leader that will report directly to the CEO and will have a key strategic role within the organization. 

What you’ll do

  • Drive business growth with enterprise accounts by implementing a sales road map focused on target markets and measurable goals.

  • Identify and execute opportunities to maximize sales growth across all potential avenues.

  • Drive revenue growth and customer value to meet and exceed targets for Sales and Customer Success

  • Hire and lead a high-performing team by setting clear sales targets, managing execution, and optimizing team performance.

  • Help establish sales metrics and performance measurements to ensure consistent progress toward company objectives.

  • Translate priorities into actionable, practical deliverables, ensuring all team members are aligned on execution goals.

  • Streamline and enhance internal processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless collaboration on revenue-generating activities.

  • Set and rigorously pursue monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets, holding the team accountable for achieving them.

  • Collect and convey key customer insights to inform product development and enhance the overall customer experience.

Who you are

  • 2+ years of experience managing enterprise SaaS sales functions. Proven record of executing and achieving measurable results. Experience leading a high-performance sales team, results-driven sales team, preferably a distributed team with a history of success in competitive or new sales markets.

  • Ability to excel in a player-coach model. You are able to balance hands-on execution with team leadership. You lead the team by example, actively participating in the day-to-day operations and executing alongside the team rather than solely providing high-level guidance. 

  • Proficient knowledge of Outreach, Salesforce, or similar CRM software. Development and implementation of reports and dashboards to effectively and efficiently optimize team performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Execution-focused growth mindset. We’re growing and being part of a startup means that some of our business goals exist 3 months in the future rather than 3 years. You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment with the ability to hyperfocus, adapt, and execute on short-term goals. 

  • Analytical and results-oriented. You are skilled in taking a data-driven approach to sales execution and maintaining transparency and accuracy in the forecasting process.

  • Experience as a builder and executor. You have the demonstrated ability to build and implement a sales playbook, processes, and go-to-market strategies that drive tangle, measurable outcomes.

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary range for this role is $155,000-$180,000 USD, and OTE of $310,000-$360,000 USD. Actual salary will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. As a remote-first company, we take a geographically-neutral approach to compensation and set our US range based on job function and level, regardless of location.
