The Opportunity:

At GrowthX we are redesigning the way we produce content at scale, helping our clients to build trust with buyers and drive meaningful demand.

We are looking for a Visual Designer to lead creative direction and asset production of our visual content, with a strong focus on design automation and template creation.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys balancing aesthetic excellence with operational efficiency. Someone who cares as much about the quality of their output as they do about rethinking the process to get there. You will be responsible for ensuring that all of our clients—not just a select few—receive high-quality, on-brand images across a variety of formats. This means you are as comfortable working within well-defined brand guidelines as you are helping fill out the gaps when a creative brief is more ambiguous.

You’ll also play a central role in building and maintaining template in tools like Placid, Abyssale, and other automation platforms, allowing our AI-driven workflows to generate visuals at scale.

What You'll Do

• Own the entire content design pipeline, from ad-hoc image creation to scalable template development

• Design high-quality graphics for multiple use cases: hero images, in-line visuals, social posts, email graphics, and more

• Build and maintain smart, reusable templates in tools like Placid and Abyssale, enabling automation at scale

• Collaborate with the content and product teams to define image needs and embed components strategically

• Help us standardize visual guidelines that elevate every client’s experience

• Iterate fast, experiment, and constantly optimize visuals based on performance and feedback

• Handle quick-turnaround requests while helping to reinvent the way we design at scale

What You Bring

• 5+ years of design experience with a solid portfolio of digital content

• Experience designing for marketing teams, editorial content, or client-focused environments

• Deep understanding of Figma, Adobe CC, and modern (AI-native) design tools

• Familiarity with AI-generated content workflows or interest in learning them fast

• A sharp eye for and fundamental understanding of layout, grid systems, typography, color theory, and usability

• You care about scaling quality, not just doing things once

• Comfortable working autonomously and collaborating cross-functionally

Bonus Points

• Specialized experience with automation tools like Placid, Abyssale, Canva API, or Bannerbear

• Specialized experience with contemporary design and publishing tools like Webflow and Framer

• Experience building design systems, template libraries, or other ways to scale design production and operations

• Experience working in both in-house and agency environments

• An interest in AI, automation, or no-code/low-code platforms
