About the role
We're seeking a Director, Go-to-Market & Business Strategy to drive end-to-end project management, cross-functional alignment, and operational execution for all critical organizational priorities. In this pivotal role, you'll focus on product and campaign launches, ensuring every initiative is tightly coordinated, strategically integrated, and executed with precision across GrĂĽns' DTC, retail, and digital channels. From new product innovations to limited-time offers and collaborations, you'll be the operational backbone that transforms concepts into successful market entries. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact our business through streamlined processes, enhanced cross-functional collaboration, and flawless execution of our most important initiatives. This position reports directly to our CFO.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a bi-annual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
In this role, you will:
Project Management & Operational Planning
Own the full product launch lifecycle from concept through post-launch analysis, creating comprehensive timelines that establish critical path milestones
Drive accountability across teams by maintaining stakeholder alignment to deadlines and centralized documentation for all launch plans
Ensure operational readiness by coordinating inventory, packaging, and fulfillment requirements while implementing effective timeline management to prevent bottlenecks
Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
Lead strategic kickoff meetings and deliver structured updates to executive leadership, providing visibility into progress and potential risks
Serve as the essential connective tissue between all departments, translating complex project details into clear, actionable information
Leverage deep understanding of company strategy to identify potential roadblocks early and facilitate swift resolution
Process Improvement & Scalability
Develop standardized GTM playbooks and facilitate comprehensive post-launch retrospectives that drive continuous improvement
Design scalable processes and optimize project management tools that accommodate growth while enhancing cross-functional visibility
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies in the launch process
We're looking for someone who:
Has 7+ years in project management or GTM operations within DTC, CPG, or eCommerce environments, with exceptional organizational capabilities to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Excels at cross-functional leadership across product, finance, operations, and marketing teams, with proficiency in project management platforms
Possesses strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with experience developing standardized launch templates and thoughtful capacity planning
Makes data-driven decisions using post-launch metrics while maintaining a comprehensive view of business priorities and outcomes
Approach to the role:
Operates as a strategic partner with intellectual curiosity, demonstrating exceptional diplomacy and influence without authority while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships
Communicates with clarity and purpose while maintaining composure under pressure, knowing what information to share with whom and when during all phases of launches
Anticipates problems before they arise, proactively develops contingency plans, and exhibits adaptability when priorities shift while keeping stakeholders aligned
Balances perfectionism with practicality, taking full ownership of launch outcomes and viewing success as a personal responsibility
