Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Art Director to oversee our North American creative team servicing an array of well-known brands, including financial and technology companies. This client-facing role requires a strong balance of creativity, leadership, and project management expertise. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality creative output across digital, social, and paid media campaigns while managing and mentoring a team of designers and animators, working alongside copywriters. You will report directly to the Associate Creative Director and work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns to life.

About You:

Strong conceptual thinking, leadership, organisation, and attention to detail.

Hands-on design expertise with extensive experience in Google Video Ads and Ai gen tools (such as Veo3).

Ability to manage and mentor creative teams, providing clear guidance, feedback, and inspiration.

Client-facing experience, with the ability to present and defend creative work persuasively.

Strong understanding of digital advertising formats (especially in Google Ads formats and best practices), responsive design, trending content, and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the creative development and execution of digital, social, and paid media campaigns for a major global technology client.

Work closely with copywriters and strategists to conceptualize and execute thoughtful and engaging campaigns for various North American audiences, whilst maintaining the brand's core tone of voice and visual style.

Act as the primary creative contact for the client, presenting ideas and ensuring alignment with their brand vision and objectives.

Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of two designers and two finalizers, ensuring quality, consistency, and creativity in all deliverables.

Drive creative strategy in collaboration with account, strategy, and media teams to deliver impactful and effective campaigns.

Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope, balancing creativity with efficiency.

Maintain brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries to drive engagement and performance.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging digital platforms, and best practices to inform and elevate creative work.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

5+ years of experience in art direction within a digital marketing or creative agency environment.

Strong background in digital, social, and paid media campaign development.

Experience leading and managing creative teams, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.

Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to present ideas confidently and persuasively.

Strong project management abilities, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met efficiently.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools such as figma.

A portfolio showcasing a strong creative vision and execution across digital platforms.

Familiarity with adtech platforms such as Google DemandGen, DV360, and PMAX would be a an advantage.

Salary range: 100,000 - 120,000 USD Per year

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time based on individual and company performance. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's location, relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
