Content Coordinator

Highlights:

  • đź—şFully remote role

  • 🌍️ Open to anyone in North America, Central America, South America, or Europe

  • 🔑 Work with the founder

Hi, I’m Jessica Malnik, founder and conversion content marketer at JM Content Group. I’m looking to hire a Content Coordinator who’s not only fascinated by marketing but also committed to mastering it. If you're someone who’s spending some of their free time diving into marketing books, testing ideas on side projects, or even blogging about your latest discoveries, this could be the role for you.

I’m not concerned with where you’ve worked or how many years of marketing experience you have. What matters here is what you’ve learned, what projects you’re proud of, and what you’re excited about right now. Whether it’s a side hustle, a project you tackled at your job, or a freelance project you did for a client, I want to hear about it.

Make no mistake - if you’re someone who delivers just enough to get by or needs a lot of hand-holding, this role may not be the best fit. But if you’re ready to step up, take initiative, and bring your best every day, I’d love to chat.

At JM Content Group, we partner with B2B SaaS, professional service firms, and agencies on everything from content strategy to research-backed copy and content. And because we run our own content site, The Remote Work Tribe (RWT), too, we’re always experimenting and evolving our approach. There’s no room here for a “just checking boxes” mentality – this is a role for someone who’s eager to dig in, learn fast, bring fresh insights, and is ready to iterate and improve every day.

Note: This is purely a behind-the-scenes support role. You won't have to worry about managing accounts or communicating with clients. I'm looking for someone who is ready to step up, help drive projects forward, and finds satisfaction in taking initiative.

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days will be exactly alike. However, here are the types of tasks you'll be working on.

  • Execute the online portion of our voice of customer process.

  • Complete SEO research and maintenance tasks in a timely fashion, such as adding image alt tags, writing meta descriptions, adding internal links, etc.

  • Pull together and organize outlines and first drafts for content, decks, and reports

  • Compile, organize, and format research, examples, and data for analysis

  • Upload, format, and stage content, including finding and creating featured thumbnail images, in our CMS

About You

  • You’re self-motivated and hungry to learn. You don’t wait for permission to dive in.

  • You’re organized, efficient, and detail-oriented. You have systems and processes that help you stay on top of multiple to-do items and priorities at any given time.

  • You take ownership and follow through on what you say you are going to do.

  • You’re a fast learner, always exploring new areas, testing out what you’ve learned, and taking notes.

  • You bring solutions, not problems. When you see something that could be improved, you’re already brainstorming how to make it happen.

Logistics

  • Fully remote position.

  • Pay range: $15-24 USD per hour, based on experience and skill set

  • Async-first culture: We don’t have many meetings. Most of your communication will be over Slack, email, and Looms.

  • Flexible hours as long as you can respond to Slacks, emails, and Looms same day and there is some overlap with US business hours Monday through Friday

How to Apply

Please click the Apply Now button and complete the application form by January 31st.

Note: Only candidates who complete the Airtable application in full will be considered.

Don't wait, tomorrow could be too late.
