Head of Marketing

Head of Marketing (Remote)

Hi! We’re Junglytics, a business intelligence and Analytics company that helps businesses sell better on Amazon. With customizable dashboards, actionable insights, and a sensible organization of Amazon marketplace data, we help our customers make sense of an otherwise confusing and murky domain. Leveraging our co-founder’s deep domain expertise, we’re building a tool that not only looks and functions great, but incorporates years of hard won expertise as the owner of multiple successful Amazon brands.

The company is owned by two co-founders who both have experience in major tech (Intuit, FitBit, AirBnB) as well as multiple startups. We've both been individual contributors on major software projects and personally know many of the ways it can go sideways. We are deeply committed to treating each other as full humans while building a team and culture where we all enjoy working.

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to join our mission to make impactful software for amazon sellers that they actually enjoy using!

The Opportunity

In this role you will lead, collaborate, coach, and execute across all marketing and communication functions within Junglytics. You’ll work directly with the co-founders to develop strategies that help us eventually reach every seller and agency that could benefit from our software.  Across content creation, lead generation, and brand building you will lead by example with steller execution and increasing leadership as we expand the team.

What you will bring to Junglytics

  • A strategic mindset for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.

  • An inquisitive mindset focused on uncovering and evaluating new customer acquisition channels, ensuring adaptability to industry trends and ongoing optimization of our marketing mix.

  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to track key marketing metrics, analyze campaign performance, and continually refine marketing strategies based on insights.

  • Skilled in creating persuasive marketing copy, and the ability to transition from content creation to editing as the team grows, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice.

  • Experienced with email marketing and automation, both in strategy and execution.

  • Curiosity and excitement to explore the rapidly evolving AI tooling particularly as it applies to marketing and content creation.

  • Experience with scaling marketing processes and teams, ideally from generalist through to specialists.

  • Solid coaching and leadership skills.

  • Comfort with digital tooling (HubSpot, Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, Zapier connections, marketing automations etc…).

  • Familiarity with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) or similar processes.

How we will support you

  • Remote first We've been a fully distributed company with team members all over the world from the very start. We believe strongly in flexibility and trust each other to get our work done.

  • Commitment to Personal Growth: We provide opportunities for professional development, training, and mentorship, so you can identify your motivations, develop your strengths, and better understand your areas for growth.

  • Work/Life Balance: Team members have the freedom and flexibility to organize their own work schedules. We want you to thrive both in both your personal and professional lives. We trust you to use good judgment and take the time off that you need to bring your best self to work.

Compensation

Annual compensation: $135,000 - 145,000 USD plus meaningful equity in the company depending on relevant experience and skills.

Hiring Process

  1. Initial application review (Done by a human!)

  2. Intro video call

  3. Test project

  4. Interview with future colleagues

  5. Final Interviews (capped at 2)

Test projects are role specific assignments that simulate the actual work you’d do at Junglytics without the unrealistic stress of a live interview. Test projects are completed asynchronously on your own time. We respect your time and don’t want this to be a big time suck and try to scope these to be achievable in a few hours or less. We hope it ultimately takes less time than it would in an interview.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Junglytics provides equal work opportunities to all team members and applicants, and it prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, caste, religion, age, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by our policies or federal, state, or local laws.

Please note that:

  • Junglytics is a startup! While we do our best to plan well, sometimes external factors require us to adapt quickly so being comfortable with change is important.

  • We’re a small team, which means regardless of seniority, everyone has to wear a lot of different hats and execute as well as lead. If there are tasks that you think are ‘beneath you’, we might not be the best fit. The founders strive to lead by example here.

  • This position is 100% remote, however we will meet-up in-person at least once per year. While we try to prioritize flexible work hours, we tend to have meetings between 1pm and 4pm EST.

  • A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.

If you think you might thrive in this environment, we would love to hear from you, even if you don’t think you meet all the requirements. We know that humans don’t neatly fit into checklists!
