Role: Support Engineer
We’re seeking a Support Engineer to deliver world-class technical support through our live chat system. Reporting to the Support Manager, you’ll join the heart of Kinsta’s operations, embodying our DNA of excellence and customer-first service.
Shift Requirement: 4 PM – 12 AM UTC
What You’ll Do
Take ownership of customer issues and drive them through to resolution
Research, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to technical problems
Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams following standard procedures
Provide prompt, accurate, and empathetic feedback to customers
Continuously improve your technical and non-technical skills
What You Bring
Complete fluency in English with excellent written communication skills
Strong customer service skills and prior online support experience
Bonus Points
Experience with Linux, NGINX, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP, DNS, CDN, and caching
Understanding of WordPress database and file structures, wp-config.php directives, and WP-CLI
Comfort with command line environments, server logs, and syntax precision
Familiarity with Cloudflare, Buildpacks, Dockerfiles, Git services (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), npm, or Composer
