Role: Support Engineer

We’re seeking a Support Engineer to deliver world-class technical support through our live chat system. Reporting to the Support Manager, you’ll join the heart of Kinsta’s operations, embodying our DNA of excellence and customer-first service.

Shift Requirement: 4 PM – 12 AM UTC

What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of customer issues and drive them through to resolution

  • Research, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to technical problems

  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams following standard procedures

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and empathetic feedback to customers

  • Continuously improve your technical and non-technical skills

What You Bring

  • Complete fluency in English with excellent written communication skills

  • Strong customer service skills and prior online support experience

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Linux, NGINX, MySQL/MariaDB, PHP, DNS, CDN, and caching

  • Understanding of WordPress database and file structures, wp-config.php directives, and WP-CLI

  • Comfort with command line environments, server logs, and syntax precision

  • Familiarity with Cloudflare, Buildpacks, Dockerfiles, Git services (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket), npm, or Composer
