Project Manager

Position Summary:


Legacy Construction & Roofing is seeking a skilled, detail-driven Project Manager to oversee and coordinate roofing and construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will manage crews, client expectations, materials, budgets, and timelines while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality. This is a full-time, on-site role based in McAllen, TX with local travel to job sites.

💵 Salary Range:


$65,000 – $80,000/year, depending on experience and certifications
. Full-time | Monday – Friday | On-site with local site visits

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction and roofing projects from pre-construction through final inspection.

• Oversee subcontractors, laborers, and vendors to ensure project timelines and standards are met.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and address issues.

• Maintain communication with clients throughout the project, providing updates and addressing concerns.

• Track and manage project budgets, materials orders, schedules, and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes.

• Report to executive management on job status, delays, and risk factors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or roofing (minimum 3 years).

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, or similar).

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 30 or PMP Certification.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

• Experience managing both residential and commercial roofing projects.

• Familiarity with local permitting and inspection processes.
