Freelance Tech Instructor – Data/ Cybersecurity/ Software

About the Role

We are seeking passionate professionals in the fields of Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Software Engineering to join us as Instructors in a freelance, part-time capacity.

This is more than just a teaching role. As an Instructor, you’ll be shaping the next generation of tech professionals. You will deliver live, interactive online sessions, provide real-world insights, and guide students through their journey—preparing them for successful careers in their respective domains.

Masterschool will provide the core curriculum and platform support, while you bring your expertise, mentorship, and engagement to the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Delivery: Deliver high-quality, engaging live sessions on core subjects in one specialized domain: Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or Software Engineering.
Take full ownership of teaching complete curriculum units.
Student Engagement: Foster an interactive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and a love for learning. Provide real-time support and feedback during live sessions.
Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in your domain to deliver relevant and up-to-date instruction.

Compensation: €32/hour | Earn up to €3500/month

Requirements

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on industry experience.
Proficiency with tools, technologies, and frameworks relevant to your domain:
Data/BI: Tableau, SQL, Spreadsheets, BigQuery, Looker, DBT, Databricks, PySpark, Fivetran.
Data Science/AI: Python (data wrangling, EDA, ML, DL, NLP, LLMs), statistics, cloud platforms, MLOps.
Cybersecurity: Network security, threat detection, security operations, industry tools and frameworks.
Software Engineering: Solid programming foundations (Python preferred), software design, and development best practices.
Strong skills in leading engaging, interactive live sessions and explaining complex topics clearly.
Experience designing or delivering learning materials or live lessons.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and feedback skills.
A genuine desire to teach, problem-solve, and mentor students toward achieving their goals.
Fluent in English and German - Must
Teaching experience - Advantage
