YOUR MISSION
We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as an AE hunting for land opportunities. As an AE at Mural, your primary responsibility will be to be the point of contact for our current and new customers who come in through our PLG customer base. Your main objective is to hunt into our PLG fueled customer base to land and expand the footprint inside their organization. You’re mainly responsible for driving incremental revenue for your assigned book of business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prospecting: Identify and research potential land opportunities within our PLG customer base and new logos.
Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects through email, phone calls, networking events, and other channels to establish rapport and create sales opportunities.
Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs of each prospect and tailor our offerings to meet their specific requirements. Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights and recommendations on collaboration strategies.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations. Maintain regular communication to nurture leads and move them through the sales pipeline.
Pipeline Management: Manage and update prospect and client information in our system of record. Monitor the sales pipeline, track progress against targets, and prioritize activities to achieve sales quotas.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
2+ years of proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales development, account development, or account executive
Ownership mindset
Data driven decision maker. You’re comfortable understanding engagement signals and applying them to your prospecting plan
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with Pocus, Salesforce, Zoominfo, and Linkedin Sales Navigator
Knowledge of visual collaboration software or related technologies is a plus
For roles based in New York City, California, Colorado, and Washington, the base salary for this role ranges from $140,000 - $160,000 + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation.
