Talent Partner

Odin helps people to raise and deploy capital seamlessly

We envision a world where people can vote with their money on what the future looks like, and participate in creating it.

Our first product makes it radically easier for anyone, anywhere, to launch & run an investment firm - think "Shopify for asset managers".

We handle all the “plumbing” and paperwork through one seamless platform - everything from setting up the legal structure for an investment vehicle through to processing exits.

We’re already trusted by over 10,000 VCs, angels and founders, and we're one of the fastest-growing fintechs in the UK, tripling income YoY. We've raised $3m in seed funding from top angels, family offices and VCs to support our own growth, and we are just getting started.

The Role

Reporting to our Head of People & Talent, you’ll play a hands-on role in building exceptional teams at Odin - owning hiring processes up to senior level and getting deep into the details to ensure we raise the bar with every hire.

You’ll typically be running no more than a handful of roles at a time, giving you the space to partner properly and do the work to a high standard. This isn’t a passive role. You’ll be in the weeds with hiring managers; challenging assumptions, shaping scorecards, stress-testing job specs, asking why at every step, and helping teams make confident, high-quality decisions. You’ll keep processes moving, create brilliant candidate experiences, and bring talent expertise to every conversation.

Reporting to our Head of People & Talent, you’ll:

  • Run end-to-end hiring processes for roles up to senior level. You’ll lead kickoffs, advise and shape scorecards, keep momentum high, and ensure every hire is made with rigour and confidence.

  • Lead qualifying calls for junior to mid-level roles. You’ll assess fit against both the role requirements and Odin’s values, showing genuine curiosity about how people think, what motivates them, and whether Odin is the right match.

  • Support sourcing for hard-to-fill and business-critical roles. This includes building target lists, running outreach, mapping the market, and constantly asking what “great” looks like.

  • Challenge and improve how we hire. You’ll bring expertise to every kickoff and help iterate on our hiring processes to improve quality, speed, and consistency.

  • Own interview scheduling across all roles. You’ll make sure coordination is smooth, respectful of people’s time, and delivers a world-class candidate experience.

  • Build pipelines for future hiring needs so we’re never starting from zero.

  • Contribute to employer brand and EVP by helping communicate what makes Odin special. You’ll craft outreach and content that resonates with the right people.

  • Maintain clean and accurate data in our ATS. You’ll help shape what we track, how we track it, and what we learn from it - improving visibility, spotting patterns, and using data to make sharper hiring decisions.

  • Explore how we can use AI tools to improve how we hire. You’ll test ideas across sourcing, outreach, screening, and candidate experience - bringing recommendations and helping us stay ahead of the curve.

About You

  • You’ve got around 3 - 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment where speed, quality, and high standards really mattered

  • Comfortable running full-cycle hiring processes from start to finish - you know what good looks like and what it takes to get there

  • A strong sourcer who doesn’t rely on what’s inbound - you can build lists, write compelling outreach, and engage people who raise the bar

  • You build real relationships with candidates - genuinely curious about who they are, how they think, and whether Odin is the right match

  • Confident in kickoff meetings - you ask the right questions, challenge scorecards, and push for clarity to help hiring managers make better decisions

  • You take ownership and stay dependable - spotting blockers early and keeping processes on track without needing to be chased

  • Communicate clearly and concisely - across written, verbal, and async channels, both internally and with candidates

  • Hold high standards for candidate experience - you treat people with care, even when things are moving fast

  • Motivated by helping teams grow - you get a real kick out of seeing great people join and do great work

  • Curious and improvement-minded - you ask why, spot ways to improve how we hire, and bring ideas as well as execution

Bonus if:

  • You’ve hired across both technical and non-technical roles

  • You’ve worked in fintech or early-stage startups
