Position: Data Analyst – Business Intelligence

Position Summary

OpenX Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Data Analyst to join our dynamic and high-performing Business Intelligence team within the Finance organization. Our mission is to steer the financial growth of OpenX through world-class financial intelligence, guidance, and services. We value reliability, integrity, and fearless stewardship of OpenX’s business, operating with objectivity, rigor, and strategic insight.

The ideal candidate is highly engaged, intellectually curious, and has 1–3 years of experience in an analytic role. You’ll develop in-depth business analyses, provide ad hoc analytic support across the company, and drive the scaling and automation of reporting processes. You’ll design and execute quantitative analyses using large, complex data sets while learning about the dynamic ad tech industry from within one of its leading companies.

Responsibilities

Build performance and revenue reporting tools for internal customers
Help build and automate data and reporting processes for the Finance organization
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting across teams
Execute deep dive quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights
Deliver analytical and decision-making support for key company initiatives
Present analysis and share findings with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Key Qualifications

1–3 years of analytical work experience, preferably in business intelligence, corporate finance, or strategic planning
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Physics); Master’s preferred
Strong analytical abilities with the ability to form succinct insights and recommendations from complex data
Curiosity and problem-solving skills
Strong SQL skills; experience with relational databases required, Google BigQuery a plus
Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite; scripting languages (Python) preferred
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present effectively to multiple levels of management
Extremely proactive, inquisitive, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Compensation

Salary Range: $93,500 – $110,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits Salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
