Team, about the role
We're looking for an Art Director for our flagship projects loved by people all over the world.
In this position you will undertake various interesting challenges, such as developing the product's visual aspects, rethinking our current approaches to graphics and effects, and managing a strong team of artists.
You'll have a unique opportunity to add a project with a multi-million audience to your portfolio and, together with the project's producer, make strategic decisions that will take the game's graphics to the next level.
This role requires relocation from Russia and Belarus to one of our offices or remote work from other countries (except Russia and Belarus). Find out more here.
Tasks
Assuming responsibility for the quality of the project's graphics and the game's visual development
Interacting closely with producers when working on the most complex tasks, such as searching for new visual solutions and developing concepts for new features and layers of the game
Participating in the development and evaluation of art specialists
Participating in the formation of efficient processes in the art team
Requirements
Strong product vision, high artistic taste, and a trained eye; understanding of how to balance quality
Understanding of production pipelines; understanding of how game graphics are created
Excellent understanding of isometry, shapes, and volumes; high level of rendering; experience in character design, creation of complex concepts and illustrations, and interface development
Solid casual 2D art portfolio is a must
Ability to see issues with graphics and give constructive feedback
Experience assessing and developing a team
Knowledge of the global mobile game market and trends in graphics
5+ years of experience in game development (preferably on match-3 projects)
Fluency in Russian and proficiency in written English
Preferred
Experience building, implementing, and adapting effective processes to the art team's needs
