***This is a contract position with the intent to hire as a full-time employee in 30-90 days after the start date.

About the role

  • The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for creating Paid Search campaigns using Google Ads, managing client budgets, and assisting in account analysis & reporting. This role will work closely with Strategists and Account Managers to collaborate on all campaigns and strategies within the Google Ads suite. The Paid Search Specialist is an attentive learner, eager to problem solve, and hungry to grow their technical, strategic, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage or support in managing paid search campaigns across various industries

  • Make daily optimizations and pacing adjustments to campaigns

  • Analyze performance data and provide intelligent analysis, interpretation and appropriate action plans based on data driven conclusions

  • Help determine client benchmarking and implement optimizations to hit client KPI’s in the quickest time possible

  • Keep up your education on industry topics

  • Participate in the hiring process ensuring the best resources are selected for the team

  • Clearly communicate with internal agency team about client goals, feedback and scheduled workflow

  • Improve upon paid media processes and innovation of new strategies and techniques

  • Vendor management for new channels and support channels

  • Work toward developing into a strategist or account manager

Requirements:

  • Ideally 1-2 years of digital marketing; Agency experience a plus

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in search engine marketing. Specifically having experience with bid monitoring and adjustment of paid search campaigns, defining terms and writing effective copy highly relevant and targeted to clients’ core products or services

  • Strong Excel skills with clear understanding of advanced Excel features

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines

  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong note taking acumen

  • Strong enthusiasm, passion, creativity and commitment to paid media and client work

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with passion for knowledge and personal growth
