SEO Growth Manager (Remote within EMEA)

The Role

The SEO Growth manager SEO is a senior, hands-on role responsible for leading and executing SEO strategies across technical SEO, content optimization, and link building. This role requires extensive expertise in all areas of SEO, from on-page and off-page techniques to analyzing SEO data and improving search engine rankings. They will implement best practices and explore innovative strategies to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic. Initially hands-on, this role will evolve to include managing external partners and potentially building and leading a team of top-tier professionals.

Responsibilities

  • SEO Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy covering technical, content, and link-building elements to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic.

  • Technical SEO: Conduct technical audits and implement on-site SEO improvements, including site structure, schema markup, and page speed optimization.

  • SEO Strategy: Oversee SEO content development aligned with SEO KPIs, ensuring all content is optimized for search engines and user engagement. You assign clear KPIs and consistently apply a test-and-learn approach to refine your strategy.

  • Drive experimentation and data: You develop hypotheses and continuously try out new formats and strategies to push growth. At the same time, you leverage data to derive insights and learn continuously.

  • Link Building: Develop and execute a link-building strategy to improve domain authority and search rankings.

  • SEO Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics. Use insights to refine strategies and demonstrate the effectiveness of SEO initiatives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing teams - content, design, and performance to ensure SEO strategies are integrated across all digital activities.

  • Consult product development to make sure user-facing features are built with SEO in mind.

  • Ensure that technical infrastructure is in place to provide the best soil for SEO growth.

  • Vendor and Agency Management: Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to supplement efforts and enhance outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in fast-paced brand-guided environments.

  • Experience in e-commerce & b2b segments is a plus.

  • Experience in leading a team, organic growth strategy and owning the long-term vision with a track record of successfully balancing priorities and delivering on KPIs.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and demonstrate ROAS on SEO initiatives.

  • Experience with technical SEO and the optimization of e-commerce websites across the whole funnel.

  • Experience in distributing content across multiple channels while leveraging SEO and product to increase organic traffic via search.

  • Highly analytical, comfortable with numbers, and data-driven - coupled with customer obsession and eagerness to develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs.
