Position Description

We’re looking for a Retention Marketing Manager to help strengthen customer relationships and increase lifetime value across Receptive but particularly focused on Top Nutrition Coaching’s telehealth programs. You’ll build and execute lifecycle campaigns that drive engagement, reduce churn, and help clients stay consistent with their health goals.

This role requires someone who can blend creativity with data, and who understands the nuances of healthcare, insurance-based patient journeys, and digital care platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with our Growth, Product, and Clinical teams to deliver thoughtful, compliant communications that improve outcomes and satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Lifecycle Strategy: Develop and optimize lifecycle journeys (email, SMS, and in-platform) to improve client engagement, treatment rates, and reactivation across telehealth programs.

  • Retention Campaigns: Build behavior-based and time-triggered campaigns that address key milestones in the nutrition care journey, including onboarding, plan completion, and follow-ups.

  • Insurance & Compliance Awareness: Tailor communications that clarify insurance benefits, eligibility, and next steps for clients using coverage or transitioning to self-pay.

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Build out reporting and closely monitor retention KPIs (activation, churn, rebooking) and run experiments that improve conversion between sessions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Growth, Operations, and Clinical leads to align messaging with appointment flow, provider availability, and program outcomes.

  • Automation Management: Build and maintain automations in Klaviyo, ensuring data accuracy and HIPAA-safe execution.

  • Brand Stewardship: Create content that aligns with TNC’s empathetic and expert tone, reinforcing trust and long-term relationships with clients.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced lifecycle or retention marketer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in telehealth, healthcare, or wellness in the US market.

  • Comfortable operating in insurance-backed patient care environments and communicating complex information clearly.

  • Analytical thinker who enjoys testing, learning, and optimizing performance through data.

  • Excellent communicator, collaborator, and self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, cross-functional team.

  • Empathetic and mission-driven, with a genuine interest in helping people live healthier lives.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience managing retention or lifecycle marketing campaigns via tools like Klaviyo, Active Campaign or similar.

  • Prior exposure to telehealth or virtual coaching programs, especially with clients who are using insurance or transitioning to self-pay.

  • Experience building segmentation and automated messaging workflows triggered by client behavior or milestones.

  • Familiarity with retention/KPI frameworks (churn rate, client lifetime value, re-booking rate) and comfortable working with dashboards and spreadsheets.

  • Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle journey and experience in audience segmentation and personalization using customer data.

  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

  • Bonus: Experience in regulated health-care settings (HIPAA or equivalent) or have crafted referral/reactivation programs.

  • Bonus: Familiarity with HTML & CSS as it relates to email, experience with loyalty programs, referral marketing, customer engagement tools, and product management.

Time Commitment:

This role is a full-time contract position and requires overlap with US ET for the majority of the workday. It is an exciting opportunity demanding dedication beyond the standard 9 to 5.
