People Operations Partner

About Roamless

The origin story of Roamless is one that will be familiar to many: we saw something that was not working and we decided to fix it for good.

We all travel. We all need to stay connected when we travel. And we all hate roaming charges. Seeing that the current alternatives to roaming are flat-out terrible, we built a properly global mobile connectivity service that's up to 90% cheaper than your regular roaming charges. We've made it easy, reliable and affordable for travellers to get connected and stay connected as they roam the world.

In just 3 years, we've grown 4-5x Year on Year and have been trusted by +1M users who overall rate us 4.6 on Trustpilot.

To take our ambitions further, in December 2025 we closed a $12M Series A led by Rasmal Ventures (bringing our total to $18M). A team of 50, we’re planning to grow to 100+ in the next ~18 months, hiring globally, working fully remote.

About the Hiring Manager and Role

Hi, I’m Claudia, Head of People at Roamless 👋 I joined in September as the first People and Talent hire. My mission is to set up infrastructure needed to double the headcount in the next ~18 months. I’m looking for a People Operations Partner to support this stage of our growth.

What you'll do

💡 As one of the first hires in the People team, you’ll be having a big impact from day 1 in this role. Besides the tasks you’d normally expect in a People Ops role, you’ll be building the foundations of People Operations at Roamless, having a real say in shaping our processes and ways of working. You’re not just executing, you’ll be shaping things from the ground up.

Your mission is to build a five-star employee experience at Roamless.

To do this, you will:

  • Build and lead employee onboarding, taking care of administrative tasks whilst shaping the process into a five-star experience, in collaboration with our IT Manager Deniz and the Head of People.

  • Act as a culture ambassador for Roamless, ideating and project managing initiatives that will help our fully remote team stay connected as we work across different corners of the world.

  • Support the logistics and organisation of company retreats and smaller-team get togethers.

  • Support the Head of People with initiatives related to employee engagement, performance management, company policies and processes, benefits, company wide OKR and goal setting and tracking (in collaboration with leadership) and more.

  • Take the lead on administrative tasks, such as contracts, employee records and database management, etc.

  • Think analytically about all the areas of your work, collecting data, observing trends, reporting relevant findings.

  • Streamline processes across HRIS, EoR platform, onboarding tools, and internal systems, looking to add system optimisation and no-code automations.

  • Have regular contact with employees, looking out for bugs in the employee experience, problem-solving them and surfacing trends from employee feedback.

What you'll bring

We believe that great talent can come from anywhere. If what we’re describing sounds like you, get in touch.

Experience

  • You have 3-7 years experience in similar roles, in a startup or scale-up environment. Similar roles means:

    • You’ve had a generalist People Ops role before

    • OR you’ve had a more specialised HR role in a company small enough to expose you to all HR silos, allowing you to jump into this generalist role without struggling.

  • You’ve done People Ops in a fully-remote company, with employees across many different countries and regions. Hybrid is also relevant, but remote is preferred.

Traits

  • You are comfortable in a generalist role and you have a fast learning curve. You can take something you’ve never done before and execute it like an almost-pro within a short time frame. You love learning and growing on the job.

  • You have initiative and creativity, paired with strong execution skills. You can take things from idea to completion, regardless of whether the idea comes from you or from someone else.

  • You’re organised, systematic and data driven, always looking for ways to improve and optimise People Ops.

  • You’re reliable with administration. You have systems in place to ensure you don’t drop balls and can keep everything running smoothly, even when things get busy.

  • You are highly empathetic, emotionally intelligent and a great listener. People trust you and open up to you easily.

  • You’re not afraid to experiment and try new things, from tooling to quirky team building initiatives.

Tooling

  • Ability to build People Ops systems and workflows from scratch. Ideally, you’ve used Notion for People Ops before and can create advanced databases with different interfaces and complex permissions settings.

  • Comfortable with Excel, bonus points for advanced Excel

  • AI, automation and integrations savvy. Bonus points for experience with tools like Zapier, Relay, Excel, N8N, etc.

Location

This is a fully remote role. We’re ideally looking for someone based in Europe, or works in Europe-friendly time zone. Full time role, permanent contract through EOR (Remote).

💰 Salary. €40,000 - €50,000 depending on experience and location.

📈 Stock options. All employees are eligible for stock options subject to tenure and performance.

🎓 Learning and development budget. Up to $1000 annually to be spent on books, online courses, conferences, etc.

🌎 Fully remote. The trust and flexibility that come with a fully-remote set up.

🧠 Innovative Environment. Be part of a cutting-edge company revolutionizing global connectivity for travelers.

📈 Global Impact. Lead growth initiatives that directly shape our market success and global brand recognition.
