Content Strategist
SamCart is looking for a talented Content Strategist to join our Marketing team. We’re a company founded and run by marketers. Naturally, concise and compelling copy and content is integral to our success online. As our in-house content strategist, you’ll work within our creative team to deliver world-class content to our customers, subscribers, and prospects. This position will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, driving, and producing content aligned to the company’s goals.
Responsibilities
Build and interpret creative briefs to create a personalized journey for the user across the entire experience
Manage our content strategy and content calendar to support all initiatives
Show ownership over creative copy projects—write and produce copy for all audiences and personas for digital media channels (website, downloads, blogs, emails, etc).
Manage the blog strategy and write majority of blogs with minimal direction
Assist the marketing team with the conception, creation, and editing of all website pages.
Consistently work to improve content based on industry best practices and conversion optimization.
Brainstorm ways to improve SamCart’s website to drive more conversions by improving content
Work with team to collaborate on campaigns or promos where new web pages or content development are required
Consistently hit deadlines with high quality of work
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Qualifications
At least 3 years experience working in SaaS developing & producing content in any format
Superb writing skills and experience writing blogs, case studies, ebooks, emails, landing pages, and web copy
Solid understanding of web copy—You understand the business goals behind the content you write, and are able to adjust based on a campaign’s strategy
Good understanding of SEO strategy and goals - you know how SEO works and how to appropriately use keywords in your writing
Experience with Webflow
Ability to translate big ideas and complex issues into crisp and enjoyable content
Being able to deliver quality work on tight deadlines and meet all deliverables
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
Added bonus if you have experience in the following areas
Experience working in the Creator Economy and/or fintech in some capacity
Project Management—Experience using project management tools like Notion or ClickUp
Experience using Hubspot or other marketing automation platforms
Have graduated from "Ship 30 for 30"

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-80,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
