The Role: Senior Creative Strategist

We are hiring a Senior Creative Strategist to lead the development of performance-driven creative strategy across paid social channels for health and wellness products.

This role is responsible for translating business goals and performance insights (communicated from the Head of Performance Content) into scalable creative frameworks that drive customer acquisition. Success in this role looks like pitching concepts and strategic next steps in team data huddles, gaining alignment, then delivering high-performing direct response social ads weekly.

Working under the leadership of our Head of Performance Content, you will own the strategic direction of creative for Meta primarily, guiding concept development, briefing and scriptwriting, and iterative testing across statics, GIFs, and short-form video. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, performance marketing, and creative execution, with a strong emphasis on UGC-driven content. Huge value add if you have experience as a UGC Creator and are actively ready to be on-camera as the proof-of-concept creator for a concept before hiring creators when needed.

What You Will Do

Creative Strategy Ownership

  • Evolve creative strategy frameworks for paid social acquisition, based on performance feedback from the Head of Performance Content

  • Translate performance data (creative-related KPIs), audience insights, and brand positioning into actionable creative briefs

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for scaling winning concepts and unlocking new creative angles

  • Hire and direct creators virtually or in person, sourcing for content generation, script reads, and whitelisting

  • Align messaging from ad to landing page on new angle testing with long-form content writers for congruency and conversion rates

Creative Direction & Briefing

  • Lead development of clear, high-quality creative briefs for internal teams and external creators

  • Craft easy-to-understand post-production briefs for external video editing partners (experience with overseas editors is a bonus)

  • Set direction and execute:

    • Hooks and messaging that hold attention

    • High-converting scripts and briefs

    • Visual storytelling (b-roll shotlists, content sourcing, stock footage, etc.)

    • Creatives for TikTok that can be multi-purposed to Meta, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, Snapchat, etc.

  • Ensure all creative aligns with performance goals and brand voice

UGC-Driven Concept Development

  • Own ideation and execution of UGC-style ad concepts optimized for conversion

  • Source creators that fit specific angles and demographics

  • Develop content balancing native platform feel with performance-driven messaging

  • Guide editors toward high-performing outputs and provide rounds of feedback

Creative Diversity and Iteration

  • Lead strategy and execution for scaling winning creatives, avoiding fatigue and expanding concepts into new formats

  • Establish frameworks for variation, testing velocity, and creative refresh cycles

Performance Integration

  • Partner with acquisition and creative teams to analyze performance, inform insights, and identify trends

  • Use data to refine strategy and improve ROI

  • Adapt winning concepts across formats (statics, GIFs, video) while tailoring to platform algorithms

Creative Systems & Operations

  • Improve and scale creative workflows with project management tools (Hive/Wrike) and asset systems (Iconik)

  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and efficiency across creative pipelines

  • Support a high-volume, test-and-learn creative environment

What You Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in DTC, paid social creative strategy, and/or UGC strategy, with considerable experience in health and wellness

  • Proven track record of developing high-performing paid social creative (case studies)

  • Deep understanding of UGC-style content and platform-native trends (TikTok, Meta)

  • Experience owning creative strategy, not just execution

  • Strong ability to connect performance data to creative decisions

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Sharp script, brief, and concept writing skills for conversions

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, iterative environment from concept through feedback loops
