Our speed of growth has made it necessary for us to find an experienced marketing professional who can work with us to take marketing efforts to the next level. The Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Digital Marketer to strategize, plan, execute & support significant enhancements to our comprehensive B2C marketing efforts. We need someone knowledgeable in the various performance marketing channels who can consistently prioritize efforts and drive world-class execution to optimize performance in B2C marketing channels. Primary marketing channels include Controlling and planning the marketing funnel at every level, E-book updates, On & Off-page Content Marketing/Sponsored Posts, Google Paid Advertising & Pixeling, Cold & Warm Email Phasing/Sequences, and Live/Recorded Video/Webinars. Building and overseeing our affiliate program, including partnerships through Impact.
Our customers range from accountants & tax professionals/entrepreneurs to property managers.
You will generate and oversee execution of a comprehensive strategic marketing plan (prioritizing a roadmap) and project results before executing to drive qualified leads to our marketing funnel resulting in a webinar demo. This role will be very hands-on, working directly with the co-founders, especially to start, and will OWN this B2C marketing for the business. You will be the first hire in our B2C marketing department but won’t be the only marketing member on our team. Once our strategy has been fully ironed out, with all SOPs in place, with things moving ahead successfully, you will be enabled hire and expand your team to cover all responsibilities in the execution of the plan.
Marketing Channels
The main marketing channels you should have experience with include:
Facebook Groups Outreach & FB/Google Paid Ads
Overseeing Affiliate Programs & developing the strategies for reaching relevant affiliates (Experience with Impact Network is a Bonus)
Lead Funnel Planning & Execution (using Landing Pages)
Being the driving force behind all forward Marketing Momentum
Planning & Executing on successful Demo Webinars, including all logistics & follow-ups for qualified lead generation
Prospective ICP Segmentation/Persona-building & effective integration of discovery/learnings into marketing content in various B2C channels
Targeting Prospective Clients & Building/Segmenting & Prioritizing Outreach Lists
Spearheading Production of Marketing Collateral (Overseeing all Marketing & Copywriting, including Website, Ads, Email, Social, etc.)
On & Off-site Content Marketing/Lead Magnets & Sponsored Posts
Email Copyrighting & Marketing Sequence Generation/Funneling
Cold & Warm Email Marketing w/Phased Sequences

DRIVEN, Self-starter with a solid working knowledge of the above marketing channels
Extraordinarily organized & capable of prioritizing marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Budget-conscious & always thriving to get the most significant result for marketing spend
5+ years of B2C SaaS or Services marketing experience (Tech-savvy is a MUST)
Strong & articulate English communication (written & speaking) skills
Advanced copyrighting & understanding of psychological persuasion
Takes ownership and becomes a stakeholder in company growth
Ability to write captivating & influential marketing copy for web, ads & email
Experience with creating, budgeting for, executing & reporting on marketing campaigns
Proficiency with managing email campaigns & nurturing sequences for prospective clients
Proven marketing success in the B2C SaaS or Services field
Understanding of service design and user experience
Basic web development/design knowledge (Updating Content on WordPress Website)
Knows how to delegate work and hire effective contractors to supplement personal strengths
The ‘nice-to-haves’ for this role include:
Previous experience marketing to accountants/CPAs in the US
Experience with having marketed niche enterprise software
Software sales and business negotiation background
Basic Understanding of SEO/Search Intent
Responsibilities
Since you’ll be starting the marketing department, there are many responsibilities. Here are some of the duties you’ll be tackling to begin. These will change as marketing channels continue to develop and as you grow your team:
Identify websites/forums frequented by our target audiences and drive demand generation by creating relevant & captivating content (sponsored posts) and executing multi-channel campaigns across the lead and customer lifecycle.
Lead the design, execution, and optimization of paid performance marketing channels (sponsored posts and paid display ads)
Support in developing affiliate partnerships and additional indirect channels
Copywriting, creation of campaigns, and ad design (directing graphic design)
Landing page optimization testing and tracking
Qualified/unqualified leads grading, attribution, & optimization
Lead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of our content and email marketing
Set, monitor, and report on ROI specific to each marketing channel.
Build out and maintain marketing metrics dashboards and targets for high-level metrics by channel, as well as operating metrics to be used to guide daily/weekly spending decisions
Ensure the alignment of communication and messaging across all marketing channels
Develop marketing materials/ lead magnets and integrate them into the funnel for each of our target audiences
Seamlessly transition leads to the sales team system for tagging priority leads
Project and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds to reach optimal results.
Manage relationships with contractors in terms of deliverables, timelines, and costs.
Build a marketing team (contractors) while getting the most out of existing resources
Research industry trends and opportunities to continuously improve our market position
Qualifications
5+ years in digital/ tech marketing role(s); strong preference for background in B2C SaaS (enterprise or accounting Industry experience a HUGE PLUS)
Experience working directly with a sales team to ensure marketing messaging and mediums match customer buying habits
Multi-channel demand generation and branding to accountants in the US
A quantitative approach to marketing performance with an eye for creativity and detail
Strong cold outreach experience to key, related sites/influencers to gain exposure and secure direct traffic & experience with placement purchases
Track record of establishing and executing against the defined strategy
Proven ability to build, manage, and lead a marketing team
Ability to develop processes, systems, and document procedures
An entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work on several projects with remote team members based in multiple locations
Self-starter with a proven track record of working under their own initiative to prioritize, plan and deliver results aligned with business objectives
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
An ability to align peers around a shared vision
Exceptional communication skills – fluency in written & conversational English
Solid track record (with references) illustrating a background in consistently planning and executing effective marketing strategies
Strong attention to detail with a focus on efficiency, process & automation
Project & people management skills with the ability to effectively manage teams toward the achievement of KPIs
Experience working with multiple stakeholders to develop effective marketing KPIs
Advanced time management skills with an ability to accurately project, meet or beat assigned & accepted deadlines
Dedication to consistent learning and ongoing self-improvement
Positive, “can-do” attitude with an insatiable desire to solve and overcome challenges
Experience directing the design of email campaigns/sequences, sales funnels, landing pages & webinars
Ability to strategize and develop effective marketing content for blog posts, LinkedIn posts, email campaigns & sponsored posts on relevant 3rd party websites.
Experience managing paid ads and effective targeted outreach on LinkedIn
Penchant for tying together comprehensive marketing strategies with efficient software for execution
Familiarity & proficiency with CRMs, and lead tracking/conversion software (e.g., Hubspot, Outreach.io, etc.)
