Senior Creative Strategist E-commerce

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and performance-driven Creative Strategist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, copywriting, and creative direction. You will be responsible for drafting ad briefs, writing compelling ad copy (for both video scripts and static creatives), and leveraging AI tools to generate insights, conduct research, and inform creative strategy.

The right candidate will have a proven track record in e-commerce and direct-response marketing, with the ability to craft creatives that convert.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft clear and actionable creative briefs for static ads and video campaigns.

- Write high-converting ad copy including headlines, hooks, CTAs, and video scripts.

- Use AI tools to support creative research, competitor analysis, idea generation, and performance insights.

- Collaborate with designers, video editors, and media buyers to ensure creatives align with strategy and drive measurable results.

- Continuously test, analyze, and refine ad concepts to improve performance.

- Stay on top of e-commerce trends, platform updates (Meta, TikTok, etc.), and best practices in direct-response advertising.

- Provide creative feedback during production to ensure quality and consistency.
- Manage creative strategy-related communication with clients inside Slack groups
- Manage communication and feedback loops with clients

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience drafting ad briefs and writing ad copy for e-commerce brands.

- Proven ability to write engaging scripts for video ads and copy for static creatives.

- Strong understanding of direct-response marketing and consumer psychology.

- Experience working in or with a marketing agency.

- Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, and idea generation.

- Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects at once.

- Portfolio of previous ad copy and creative work in e-commerce.
- Capacity to manage creative team for deliverables (static ads designer and video editor)

- Fluent in written and spoken English
