The role

Steno is growing! We’re looking for a Recruiter to join our winning team, which is revolutionizing the court reporting industry every single day. You’ll play a key role in building our team by finding culture-adds and exceptional talent, partnering with hiring managers, and helping them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for multiple, complex requisitions

  • Create innovative sourcing strategies and drive engagement to bring top talent to each role

  • Contribute to the design of recruiting databases and workflows, including ATS structure and reporting tools

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define workflows, screening criteria, and draft job postings

  • Promote Steno’s talent brand internally and externally, ensuring a thoughtful candidate experience

  • Research industry trends and share scalable ideas to innovate recruitment efforts

  • Measure, track, and report on recruitment KPIs to identify improvement opportunities

You’re gonna crush it if

  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in fast-paced startups

  • Experience recruiting for a wide variety of roles, especially within Operations

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  • Proven success partnering with hiring managers to fill hard-to-hire roles

  • Creative thinker who uses unconventional strategies to engage candidates

  • Strong ability to manage deadlines while balancing multiple high-priority projects

  • Proactive mindset, taking initiative when roadblocks arise

Compensation & benefits
