JOB TITLE: Email Marketing Strategist

JOB SUMMARY

Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Email Marketing Strategist/Automation Specialist to join their growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing email and SMS campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and retention. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, experience with marketing automation platforms, and a passion for data-driven decision making.

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement email and SMS marketing strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Create and manage automated email workflows, including welcome series, abandoned cart

    emails, and post-purchase follow-ups.

  • Segment audiences based on demographics, behavior, and preferences to deliver personalized

    messaging.

  • Design and execute A/B tests to optimize email subject lines, content, and calls to action.

  • Track and analyze key email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) to

    measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure emails are visually appealing and on-

    brand.

  • Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends, best practices, and anti-spam regulations (CAN-

    SPAM, GDPR, TCPA).

  • Work with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, and Attentive.

  • QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an Email Marketing Specialist or similar role.

  • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo,

    Attentive).

  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization,

    and deliverability.

  • Experience with A/B testing and data analysis.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a remote work environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

  • The position will be 100% remote, and candidates must have adequate computer equipment to

    complete their job responsibilities as well as attend video calls as needed.

  • Agency experience preferred

  • Must provide a case study or sample work

  • Able to adapt to fast paced environments

  • C1 or C2 level English

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies
