
Performance Marketing Manager - Digital Marketing Agency

Performance isn’t just a metric—it’s a mindset. We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist who thrives on data, accountability, and the ever-evolving digital media landscape. You’ll lead digital media buying efforts across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, Bing, YouTube, and DSPs such as The Trade Desk, Simpli.fi, and StackAdapt, while supporting analytics integration via Google Analytics (GA4), DataBox, and related platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Media Buying + Campaign Execution
Plan, execute, and optimize media buys across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Bing, and YouTube.
Manage campaigns in DSPs including The Trade Desk, Simpli.fi, StackAdapt, and similar platforms (e.g., Frequence, Maestro).
Coordinate and oversee programmatic, CTV/OTT, and Out-of-Home (OOH) campaigns using agency vendors and partners.
Tracking, Attribution & Analytics Integration
Set up and manage tracking with Google Analytics 4, UTM parameters, Meta Pixel, and conversion APIs.
Ensure GA4 is properly deployed and integrated with all paid media campaigns.
Build and maintain DataBox dashboards, connecting key campaign metrics to broader analytics goals.
Proactively identify and resolve attribution issues, delivering actionable, data-driven insights.
Campaign Setup & Optimization
Build, structure, and optimize campaigns in Meta and Google Ads, including:
Keyword research
Audience segmentation
Ad copywriting
Creative briefing
Maintain clean and consistent tagging, tracking, and naming conventions.
Collaborate with creatives and account managers to ensure assets and messaging align with campaign strategy.
Vendor & Budget Management
Partner with DSP reps and external vendors to negotiate, launch, and optimize media buys.
Handle monthly invoice reconciliation and ensure spend accuracy across platforms.
Validate campaign spend, pacing, and performance metrics for client reporting and billing.
Cross-Team Integration & Reporting
Partner with strategy, creative, and analytics teams to design full-funnel media strategies.
Present campaign performance insights and optimization recommendations in client meetings.
Stay informed on platform changes, algorithm updates, and new ad channels that could benefit client accounts.
Requirements
3–6 years of experience in digital media buying or performance marketing (agency or in-house).
Proficiency with:
Google Ads
Meta Ads Manager
GA4
DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, Simpli.fi)
Experience managing and reporting on CTV/OTT, OOH, and programmatic campaigns.
Strong skills in tracking implementation, attribution modeling, and dashboard/reporting tools (especially DataBox).
Deep understanding of budgeting, pacing, and invoice reconciliation.
Ability to distill performance data into clear client-facing insights.
Strong organizational and communication skills; able to juggle multiple priorities while delivering results.
Nice to Haves
Familiarity with HubSpot, CallRail, or other conversion and lead-tracking tools.
Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing, or marketing automation.
Comfort using AI tools to streamline workflows and ideation (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper).
