Business Development Representative - Remote (anywhere in the Americas or Asia)

Unlike most SaaS businesses which reach scale by focusing on the North American market, Talkpush is making an impact in the emerging markets (Asia, Africa, Latin America), which we can have the biggest impact by helping millions of young professionals get the right start in their career. 

Our software helps employers build a better recruitment process, that is faster, more fair, more connected to social media, and more automated. We help employers transition away from the old techniques, such as resume and phone screening. 

We are looking for Business Developers to join our sales team to educate the market on the benefits of applying automation to recruitment.  The Business Development Representative (BDR) will find and qualify potential customers who can benefit from our services.

As the first line of communication, the ideal BDR has a strong understanding of the sales process, excels at researching leads, can start new relationships naturally, and knows how to set up his or her teammates for success

 

Responsibilities of a Business Development Representative (BDR): 

  • Identify and research target companies in our key markets and seek new business opportunities 

  • Locate key recruitment initiatives and environments that could benefit from Talkpush automation

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives

  • Set up discussions with managers and executives in talent acquisition and discuss ways to automate their recruitment process 

  • Set up appointments for our executive team through emails, phone calls, LinkedIn … and whatever it takes to get in front of the right people

  • Build a strong sales pipeline with a steady flow of qualified opportunities.

  • Meet and exceed monthly opportunity and activity goals in a metric-driven environment

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our competitive positioning and provide feedback for internal teams

  • Work with the Customer Success team to connect with the customer and deliver inspiring demos

The kind of person we are looking for: 

  • You are ambitious and would like to succeed professionally and financially in the next few years, even if it means sacrificing a few evenings to work

  • You are a good judge of character and a good communicator and you can help us connect with real decision-makers. Comfortable talking with people more senior than you

  • Past sales experience is welcome (2 years). Past experience as a recruiter is very welcome. 

  • Experience in working in a remote setup, where you are in charge of maintaining a suitable, productive work environment

  • Genuinely curious about tech, and its ability to change the world

  • Strong communication skills, fully fluent in English both written and spoken
