Job Overview:

The Affiliate Manager at ThriveCart is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization’s affiliate marketing programs.
This role involves recruiting new affiliates, maintaining relationships with existing affiliates, optimizing affiliate performance, and ensuring that the affiliate program aligns with the company's overall marketing and sales goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recruit new affiliates who align with the company’s brand and marketing goals.

  • Assist new affiliates with the setup process, providing necessary training and promotional materials;

  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing affiliates to ensure loyalty and continued promotion;

  • Provide support and resources to affiliates to help them succeed;

  • Track and analyze affiliate performance using various metrics and KPIs;

  • Optimize the affiliate program by identifying and addressing underperforming affiliates;

  • Implement strategies to improve affiliate productivity and sales;

  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns aimed at driving affiliate sales;

  • Coordinate with internal marketing teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution;

  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed;

  • Develop and manage incentive programs to motivate affiliates;

  • Design reward structures that align with performance metrics;

  • Ensure all affiliate activities comply with legal regulations and company policies;

  • Monitor affiliate promotions to maintain brand integrity and quality;

  • Prepare regular reports on affiliate program performance and present findings to management;

  • Use data analysis to inform strategic decisions and improve the program;

  • Provide affiliates with the tools, resources, and content they need to promote the company's products effectively; and

  • Keep affiliates informed about new products, promotions, and any changes in the program. 

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of affiliate marketing principles and strategies;

  • Proven track record in marketing and sales;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates;

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret performance metrics;

  • Experience with affiliate marketing software and analytics tools;

  • Strong organizational and project management skills;

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;

  • Effective negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with affiliates; and

  • Ability to handle contract renewals and disputes.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field;

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;

  • Proven experience working in the SaaS environment; and

  • Demonstrated success in developing content strategy.
