Pursuit Manager

Who we're looking for

The Pursuit Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving success in complex and high-value opportunities. Working in close partnership with sales, this role delivers high-quality, tailored bid responses while shaping go-to-market execution through the creation of sales plays, messaging frameworks, and value-based selling motions using tools like ROI calculators and Digital Sales Rooms.

What you'll be delivering

  • Lead Bid Management activity, supporting sellers to win complex and strategic opportunities.

  • Own the creation of high-quality proposals, presentations, and sales collateral aligned to our brand.

  • Lead and evolve our Content Management System (Seismic), ensuring it serves as a centralised, easy-to-navigate hub for sales and bid teams.

  • Support the definition of Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, including the creation of sales plays, messaging frameworks, and reusable asset packs.

  • Create and lead selling motions by leveraging digital tooling such as ROI calculators, Digital Sales Rooms (DSRs), and value-based storytelling assets.

  • Provide training and coaching to sales teams on persuasive writing, proposal development, and content best practices.

  • Champion AI tools to increase content efficiency and proposal quality.

  • Identify and harvest reusable content from bids and successful engagements; document asset inventory and conduct regular gap analyses.

  • Demonstrate comfort and credibility in customer-facing scenarios, including bid interviews, discovery sessions, and workshops.

  • Support pre-sales activity for our AI Bid Management solution, working with internal teams to align AI capabilities with real-world bid needs.

  • Bring understanding and insight from working within or with public sector frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, DOS, TS4).

We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following

  • Strong experience in digital content management and creation, ideally using Seismic or similar platforms.

  • Proven ability to develop selling motions using digital tools such as ROI models, DSRs, and proposal automation.

  • Experience in proposal and document management, with a keen eye for structure, clarity, and brand alignment.

  • Familiarity with public sector procurement frameworks and the documentation standards required.

  • Ability to navigate and influence across complex organisational structures.

  • Strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement.

  • Comfortable communicating and influencing at a senior level, including with customers.

  • Passion for modern working methods, particularly AI-driven tools, to enhance content quality and operational efficiency.
