About the Role

We're looking for a strategic, detail-oriented Marketing Manager with exceptional taste and deep HubSpot expertise to drive qualified lead generation and elevate our brand. This is a high-impact, performance-driven role where your success directly translates into earnings — the better you perform, the more you make.

You'll own our marketing engine end-to-end: from crafting campaigns and managing our web presence to refining segmentation strategy and nurturing prospects through the funnel. If you thrive on turning data into action and have a sharp eye for what "great" looks like, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Campaign Execution

  • Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns to drive qualified leads into our sales pipeline

  • Manage HubSpot Marketing Hub — including email marketing workflows, sequences, automation, and reporting

  • Plan and manage Google Ads campaigns with a focus on ROI and lead quality

  • Craft compelling direct email outreach strategies for targeted prospect lists

HubSpot & Marketing Operations

  • Serve as the in-house HubSpot expert, owning our CRM marketing configuration

  • Build and maintain sophisticated segmentation, contact properties, lifecycle stages, and lead scoring models

  • Ensure clean data hygiene and reporting accuracy across the platform

  • Continuously optimize the lead-to-deal conversion funnel

Website Management

  • Manage and improve the Upward Technology website as the business evolves

  • Ensure messaging, content, and design reflect our brand standards and market positioning

  • Implement SEO best practices and conversion rate optimization

Current Client Messaging

·         Work alongside Account Management and leadership team to continually message segments of our current client base.

·         Develop campaigns and programs that drive current client engagement

Strategy & Messaging

  • Develop and refine overarching marketing strategy aligned with business growth goals

  • Develop and maintain key metrics and reporting on marketing effectiveness. Regularly report internally.

  • Stay current on MSP/cybersecurity industry trends to inform positioning and content

Requirements

  • HubSpot Certified (Marketing Hub certification required; additional HubSpot certifications a strong plus)

  • 3–5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in IT services, SaaS, or managed services

  • High taste-level, demonstrated through examples of past projects or work samples

  • Proven track record of generating qualified leads through digital marketing channels

  • Deep expertise in email marketing, marketing automation, and CRM management

  • Work Pacific Standard Time hours every day

  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns

  • Strong understanding of segmentation, lead scoring, and funnel optimization

  • Experience managing and updating business websites (CMS proficiency required)

  • Excellent written communication skills with a sharp, polished aesthetic sensibility

  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and execute

Nice to Have

  • Experience marketing for MSPs or IT services companies

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity or compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, CIS)

  • Google Ads certification

  • Experience with B-Corp or mission-driven organizations

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there set hours I need to be working during the day?
We would prefer to have you available from 8-5 Pacific Standard time, but are open to flexible arrangements as long as there is multi-hour overlap each day.
