Project Manager - Website and Application Development

The Role 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple web and application development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also managing client relationships effectively. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Project Management 

• Lead and manage multiple web and application development projects simultaneously

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets 

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA specialists

• Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies

• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively 

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the development team, including scheduling work, running team meetings, and managing workload 

• Communicate with developers to ensure they have everything they need to perform their work and resolve any issues or needs that may arise 

• Track project progress and budget, proactively flagging issues that may cause projects to go over budget or be delayed 

• Perform quality control and review of completed tasks 

• Engage in daily and weekly discussions with company leadership 

• Coordinate with teams across multiple time zones 

• Collaborate with the project manager at our sister company (digital marketing agency)

Account Management

• Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships 

• Help onboard new clients and set up new projects 

• Discuss new requests or critical issues on existing projects with clients, either in meetings or through project management software 

• Provide progress updates to clients both through project management software and progress reports 

• Communicate with clients in scheduled meetings, progress reports, and regular updates

• Discuss and evaluate new requests from clients on existing projects 

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in web or application development 

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively 

• Experience with project management and communication tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Teamwork, Slack, Google Workspace) 

• PMP or Agile certification is a plus

• Familiarity with web and mobile technologies

• Experience working with remote teams and across different time zones
