Operations Support Specialist

ABS Kids is looking for a remote Operations Support Specialist to join our team! While this is a remote position, we are looking for candidates in the Pacific or Mountain time zone. Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services support intensive therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder overseen by professional Behavior Analysts in both center-based and home-based environments. The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the Operations Manager and Director of ABA Services through administrative support, and policy and procedure adherence.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $18 / hour - based on qualifications

What Would You Do?

  • Facilitate coverage of cancelled direct care appointments both future and same day, using available Behavior Technicians and notify Behavior Analysts of coverage changes:

    • Change provider on the original appointment

    • If needed add appointment to Behavior Technicians’ schedules

    • Connect Behavior Technicians to the appropriate patient

  • New Client On-boarding Responsibilities:

  • Review account to see if a patient has missing documents and obtain any missing information

  • Answer calls and emails from clients and staff as needed

  • Assist providers with any questions or office needs

  • Scheduling Responsibilities

  • Modify/= and adjust Behavior Technicians (BTs) schedules when patients cancel

  • Communicate with supervising Behavior Analyst about schedule changes

  • Responsible for the tracking and administration of the cancellation policy

  • Work with our BTs when they need to cancel due to illness and make sure those patients are rescheduled

  • Ensure BT submits PTO in our payroll system as needed

  • Run weekly reports to monitor call outs by Behavior Technicians.

  • Run daily unconverted appointments audit report

  • Adhere to federal HIPAA regulations, as well as any company policies & procedures

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree Preferred

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

  • Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis terminology preferred, not required

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB and/or experience as a Behavior Technician preferred; not required

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent customer service

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Problem solving ability

  • Excellent attendance

  • Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures, quickly and effectively
