Part-time Sales Development Rep (SDR)
POSITION OVERVIEW
We're looking for a highly motivated and ambitious part-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us grow our advertising client business. The prime objective is to increase sales revenue by presenting our offers to marketing budget decision makers who are good targets for direct advertising spend.
As an SDR at Luxury Latin America, you will be the first point of contact for potential advertisers, playing a key role in driving advertising growth. Your primary responsibilities include identifying and engaging high-quality leads and qualifying prospects for the advertising director. Additionally, you will manage and close deals that don’t require complicated editorial consideration or approvals, guiding them through the sales process to convert them into customers.
We’re looking for a proactive, goal-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a passion for relationship building. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with a talent for building rapport quickly and the persistence to turn cold leads into closed deals or warm opportunities for the management team to pursue. An ability to counter objections with past partner histories and creative solutions is essential. We want a self-motivated individual who can “sell with a swagger” and project positivity despite any obstacles and without constant supervision.
Once the candidate has gained experience and earned commissions, the sales scope will expand to larger deals for the content marketing blogger agency.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a sales development representative, lead generator, or in a similar outbound sales role, ideally in an online publishing or travel/luxury advertising environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Multilingual capabilities with Advanced English and Spanish
Strong phone presence, listening skills, and persuasive copy writing ability
Strong time management and organizational skills in a remote environment
Proficiency in Google Drive, particularly Sheets and Documents, and prospecting on LinkedIn
Ability to work independently while meeting weekly and monthly goals
Fast internet, a functional workspace with limited background noise, and reliable electricity are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Find new prospects via email, LinkedIn, phone prospecting, and other channels. Track and manage sales processes, conversations, and notes. Collaborate with the Advertising Director or Editor to optimize and refine sales processes. Report internally to the Advertising Director and Editor on successes, failures, and progress.
Follow up on a database of previous leads. Reestablish contact with current or new representatives, evaluate viability as a prospective advertiser.
COMPENSATION
This is a contracted position that will start at 10 hours per week, with the ability to increase those hours if justified by ongoing results. A small weekly base pay will join a commission structure that escalates by monthly volume booked, with higher sales volume leading to a higher commission percentage. (5% to 20%).
Base pay will depend on the country of residence and will exceed any official local minimums. The commission plan payouts on top of that will be clear and attainable in order to align the interests of both of us: the higher the deal volume, the more both parties will benefit.
This job is fully remote and the candidate can be based anywhere in Latin America.
