About the role:
We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to be the driving force behind our operational cadence, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Reporting into the COO, you will work closely with the leadership team, playing a key role in scaling our business. Your responsibilities will span across various functions, giving you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the entire company.
Important Note: To be considered for this role, candidates must be located in the metropolitan areas of Boston, DC or New York due to travel requirements (at least 1x a month). We are also open to candidates who would consider independently relocating to any of these areas.
What You’ll Do:
Design and implement operational strategies and processes to keep the business running seamlessly. Develop new ideas and bring them to life.
Act as the Directly Responsible Individual for special projects, ensuring successful execution across teams.
Assist with investor relations, board meeting preparation, and other executive tasks. Provide operational and administrative support as needed.
Manage operating cadences including leadership meetings and offsites, monthly business reviews, all-hands and other company programming.
Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives to drive company outcomes. Optimize workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other operational needs across departments.
Track key performance indicators, identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
Build and maintain professional relationships with CEOs, founders, board members, and other industry leaders.

You have a proven track record in a similar role, with a knack for operational excellence and strategic thinking.

You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

You have previously worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
You have experience working closely with executive teams and managing high-level relationships.
Pay Transparency:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size, stage and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
There are many factors that go into salary determinations, including relevant experience, skill level and qualifications assessed during the interview process, and maintaining internal equity with peers on the team. The range shared below is a general expectation for the function as posted, but we are also open to considering candidates who may be more or less experienced than outlined in the job description. In this case, we will communicate any updates in the expected salary range.
Salary range for US: $150,000 - $210,000
