Director of Demand Generation

Job Summary:

Bugcrowd is looking for a Director of Demand Generation who has a high acumen for demand generation strategy including digital, email, channel, and field marketing. You will have a proven track record in digital acquisition and in developing multi-channel integrated campaigns that drive engagement, conversion and pipeline. You will be a critical Go-To-Market leader who will play an integral part of our next phase of growth and will shape our GTM strategy as we continue to grow and scale. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Customer Success teams to develop campaign themes that will drive engagement, pipeline and bookings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create the vision and plan for generating demand by developing high-impact lead generation campaigns across multiple channels, events, or other outlets

  • Manage the Demand Generation team for optimal dissemination of campaigns across channels, including digital, field and email

  • Develop Account Based Marketing strategies and programs

  • Work with the rest of our Go-To-Market team to set and achieve marketing KPIs that allow us to meet pipeline and revenue targets

  • Ensure that we hit our booking targets by creating a healthy stream of high quality pipeline opportunities for the go-to-market teams to pursue

  • Put in place best-practice processes and tools that allow us to measure and report on KPIs across our entire marketing funnel and effectively execute our marketing plan.

  • Provide day-to-day support for sales development activities, ensuring that inbound and outbound processes are fully in sync.

  • Maintain a reliable funnel forecast and drive internal communications around expected results.

  • Align marketing with sales to ensure demand generation campaigns are synchronized with sales strategies and goals

  • Build and manage demand generation campaign calendar, communication, and deliverables

  • Rigorously track, analyze and communicate our lead generation and pipeline opportunity contributions on a regular basis

Pay Range Disclosure:

The base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to Qualifications, Geographical Location, Education/certifications, Experience, Skill Sets, Training, and other business and organizational needs. 

A reasonable estimate of the current range for the position of Director of Demand Generation  is: $144,720 - $197,600.

This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 8+ years of relevant B2B experience managing global demand generation & operations strategy across online and offline channels

  • Marketo, SFDC and 6Sense power user

  • 5+ years of direct oversight of marketing operations - managing a full marketing tech stack with a bi-directional sync with SFDC

  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing multichannel demand generation campaigns and programs with global experience

  • Account Based Marketing knowledge, experience and best practices is a must

  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in making data-driven decisions to continually optimize performance and determine future investments

  • Ability to quickly understand overall business objectives, create a well-aligned marketing strategy and execution plans with clearly defined metrics and KPIs.

  • Strong technical skill with marketing automation, ABM, SFDC, Outreach and Google Analytics

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Excellent communications skills — both written and verbal

  • Strong sense of teamwork, collaboration and relationship management skills
