Account Manager

Cordance is seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Account Manager to help grow LabStats, a mission-driven company transforming the Higher Education sector within the EdTech industry. In this role, you will take full ownership of a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring high renewal rates, stronger product engagement, and revenue growth while serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for each account. We’re looking for a strategic, customer-focused professional who can build strong relationships, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver long-term value. This is a fully remote role; all candidates must be based in the US 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a portfolio of Higher Education accounts, ensuring consistent renewals, long-term satisfaction, and growth opportunities.

  • Proactively engage customers to reduce churn risk, improve retention, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor by aligning LabStats’ solutions with institutional goals and metrics for success.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

  • Track account health, renewal status, and expansion pipeline in Salesforce with accuracy.

  • Use product usage data to uncover adoption trends and recommend broader deployment strategies.

  • Report on customer performance, satisfaction, and revenue growth across your accounts.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a customer-facing role in B2B SaaS.

  • Proven success in managing renewals, driving account growth, and building strong, long-term customer relationships.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track activities, manage renewals, and forecast revenue.

  • Passion for supporting mission-driven customers and contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused team.

What Will Help You Stand Out

  • Experience working with or supporting Higher EdTech customers.

  • Familiarity with the Higher Education IT landscape, including centralized vs. decentralized structures.

  • Understanding of IT buyer personas (CIOs, IT Directors, Systems Administrators).

  • Ability to turn data insights into strategies that drive retention and account growth.
