
Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager
We’re a fast-growing package design measurement startup changing the way brands measure and optimize their package designs. Our clients are consumer-packaged-goods companies, ranging from innovative challenger brands (think: a new better-for-you soda or mushroom coffee) to iconic brands you’ve known since childhood.
Now, we’re looking for a Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager with at least 3 years of experience to help us build our brand presence, create compelling marketing materials, and support our sales & analytics teams with high-impact visuals.

As our Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager, you’ll wear multiple creative hats, balancing social media strategy, marketing content creation, and presentation/layout design.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Graphic Design
Create visual assets for social media, marketing materials, blogs, and email campaigns
Lay out sales materials, executive presentations, and white papers
Create infographics and other visuals to communicate big ideas simply and effectively
Design and update landing pages and marketing emails, and manage sending of email campaigns
Depending on the candidate’s particular skill set, they may also be asked to: illustrate report covers and other marketing assets, stylishly photograph products for use on social media, leverage motion graphics skills for short videos, etc.
Social Media & Content Marketing
Manage and schedule content across social platforms
Research trends in packaging design and work with VP of Content to curate engaging content
Create and post visual assets to support brand storytelling
Edit video interviews for use on social media
Monitor social engagement and interactions
Load new blog posts to Hubspot and create supporting visuals (e.g., header images for blog posts, etc.)
SKILLS:
Must-haves
Advanced proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Proficiency with video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere and After Effects. (While advanced video and motion graphics skills would be a plus, they are not required. Basic video editing abilities are.)
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of social media platforms (specifically LinkedIn and Instagram)
Curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a helpful, can-do attitude. (Startup life is never boring, and you may occasionally be asked to assist with tasks that are outside your standard responsibilities.)
Being a motivated, self-starter. (For example, the ability to get started on creating something without an incredibly detailed brief.)
Nice-to-haves (but not required)
Experience with marketing automation/CRM software, such as Hubspot
Experience with social media management software, such as Loomly
Specialized design skills, such as photography, illustration, motion graphics, or UX design
Short-form copywriting skills. (For example, the ability to craft brief, grammatically-correct, on-message social media updates with little to no input from a writer.)
A keen sense of social media strategy and the ability to leverage analytics to optimize engagement on these platforms

ROLE: Full-time
REPORTS TO: VP of Content
COMPENSATION: $70k - 85k, commensurate with experience
BENEFITS: Company health plan, unlimited PTO
