Chief Operating Officer

Our innovative technology empowers parents and caregivers with tools to deliver personalized therapy at home, enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. As we continue to expand our reach and impact, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Operating Officer to join our leadership team and drive our mission forward.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Assists Chief Executive Officer in developing and implementing the business plan and budget along with the strategic plan.

  • Participates, oversees, interprets and recommends changes to all clinical and operational policies and procedures, including but not limited to HIPAA and OSHA.

  • Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment and high-quality patient care.

  • Advises senior leadership on strategic operational enhancements and systems conversions along with integrating business processes and systems in support of business goals and objectives.

  • Establish key performance indicators for management of the operations group.

  • Develop a multi-year operational plan to strengthen Forta’s position as the industry leader realizing a sustainable business model that maximizes value for all stakeholders.

  • Carefully monitor regulatory compliance, insurance coverage and claims, contract language, and any legal proceedings to ensure issues are properly handled and company interests are safeguarded.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior/executive/director operation management role within a healthcare/health-tech.

  • Previous experience in a fast paced startup is highly desirable - especially with founder experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting. Masters’ degree preferred.

  • Proven experience as a COO, Integrator, or in a similar executive role.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in negotiation and vendor management.

  • Ability to develop and implement operational processes and strategies.
