SEO Manager

General Assembly is seeking a dynamic SEO Manager and you will be someone who:

  • Develops strategic SEO plans and goals to support key marketing campaign initiatives.

  • Identifies custom SEO KPIs for campaigns

  • Analyzes, summarizes, and presents results to marketing teams and decision-makers.

  • Lead management of web enhancements requests, working closely with the Webex team and website authors

  • Communicates to appropriate SEO team members who will execute content, local messaging, and technical needs.

  • Oversees tactical execution of all SEO initiatives, and optimization of our path to conversion including keyword mapping, technical enhancements, metadata, schema markup, etc

  • Develops processes that establish and enhance standards.

  • Interprets highly complex results and analyzes trends.

  • Manage SEO agency and relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Acts as the subject matter expert for the Performance team.

  • Act as key stakeholder regarding A/B tests and CRO that can have a positive impact on the user experience

  • Develops business approaches and new or enhanced processes.

  • Guides and mentors a wide range of audiences. 

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in SEO

  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, including vendors

  • Strong Digital Analytics and metric skills required

  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

  • Experience using and applying SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEM Rush, and others

  • Experience with project management

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.

  • Experience in B2C and B2B SEO approach preferred

The anticipated annualized salary range for this position in the US market is $86,000 and $132,000. Salary will be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.  If hired as a regular full-time employee, this position will include a variable compensation plan which could be a bonus or a commission.

Available paid leave may include paid time off, parental leave and holiday pay.
