The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to help fuel our rapid growth into new markets. This role will be responsible for creating and managing the highest quality marketing and thought leadership content to engage our target audience of M&A (mergers and acquisitions) professionals.

This will include the production of both editorial and multimedia content, as well as supporting assets for content distribution (e.g., emails, landing pages, social media, etc.).

Your efforts will help improve awareness and consideration of iDeals and increase engagement metrics across the marketing and sales funnel. The role reports to the Content Director and is ideally suited to a creative, autonomous individual with a revenue-oriented mindset who thrives in a dynamic, scale-up environment. 

We are specifically looking for someone based in the UK.

What You Will Do

  • Copywriting for different content formats and channels (articles, data-driven reports, white papers, interviews, webinars) primarily catering to UK/US audiences

  • Provide copywriting support for the wider marketing team (case studies, landing pages, event collateral, emails, etc.)

  • Take ownership of content projects from start to finish, including collaboration with design and field marketing teams

  • Contribute ideas for content assets and campaigns by analyzing industry news and trends

  • Work with internal and external subject-matter experts to deliver unique insights into the M&A industry

  • Manage social media calendars, including creation of content

  • Track success of content activities using different analytics tools

What We Look For

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in content creation in B2B marketing, experience in Financial Media and SaaS will be beneficial

  • Demonstrated creativity and the ability to develop original content that increases brand authority and engagement

  • Versatility with a range of experience in various forms of copywriting, including advertising, journalism, and conversion-focused content

  • Proficiency with popular content management tools and platforms

  • Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Have

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field

  • Previous experience of working in journalism or PR field

Our Interview Process

We believe in competency-based interviews combined with work samples and we share clear expectations for each element. Our interview assignments simulate what it's like to work at iDeals and the type of tasks you'll tackle. Here are the stages of the interview process for this role:

• Portfolio check

• Intro with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (50 mins)

• Test task (~4 hours)

• Competency-based interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (90 mins)

• Hiring Manager interview (60-90 mins)
