Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager
IPinfo is a rapidly growing “data as a service” provider delivering accurate and proprietary data to thousands of developers and enterprises around the world. Our data is used to enrich applications, personalise online experiences, and manage security risks. We’re at an exciting stage of evolution and we’re looking for a data-driven and innovative Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join the marketing team.
The Role
In this role, you will develop and execute email marketing strategies designed to engage our technical audience and drive growth and adoption of our data. This is a hands-on, high-execution role, where you have a wide scope of accountability, owning the function and collaborating across teams to implement your strategies.
Email Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute our email and lifecycle communications strategy
Write, edit, and proofread engaging and technically accurate email copy that speaks to a highly switched-on technical audience
Collaborate with the wider team, delivering email support for marketing campaigns and product communications
Audience Engagement and Segmentation
Leverage audience segmentation to deliver highly relevant communications
Understand our customers’ technical needs, interests, and challenges to craft emails that resonate and educate
Marketing Automation and Funnel Optimization
Build and optimise email workflows to support sales marketing goals and enterprise funnel optimisation
Create nurture and drip campaigns that guide prospects from awareness to conversion
Lifecycle and Customer Journey Management
Working closely with CRO, map the customer journey of our self-service offer, creating transactional communications tailored to specific lifecycle stages - acquisition, retention, upsell, and loyalty
Drive engagement and improve retention and lifetime value
Analytics and Optimisations
Monitor email deliverability, IP reputation, and inbox placement to ensure high engagement rates
Implement authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to ensure compliance with best practices and regulations
Analyse campaign performance (e.g. open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates) and use data insights to inform strategies
Conduct A/B tests to optimise subject lines, content, visuals, and CTAs
Continuously refine and improve workflows and messaging to improve engagement and conversion
About You - the Skills, Knowledge, and Experience you will need

3+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle communications, and marketing automation in a B2B SaaS environment
Exceptional writing skills and proven experience in crafting compelling copy that drives action
Proficiency and experience with transactional and marketing automation platforms (we use Hubspot and Postmark)
Familiarity with subscription metrics and user onboarding and retention strategies
Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email customisation
Advanced understanding of segmentation, A/B testing, and email deliverability best practices
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
An entrepreneurial mindset — you get a kick out of unblocking yourself and others, fixing what’s broken, learning new tools, and taking ownership where needed to move the needle
Comfortable in a scale-up environment working in a fully remote and globally distributed team
A passion for technology with knowledge or active interest in the Internet and Internet data concepts
