DevOps Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

As the DevOps Lead Engineer, you will take ownership of Mozio's infrastructure, ensuring it is high-performing, cost-effective, secure, and aligned with modern best practices. You will collaborate closely with our development teams to optimize our CI/CD pipelines, enhance deployment processes, and build tools to improve efficiency.

What You'll Do

Own and Maintain Infrastructure

Manage and optimize our AWS-based infrastructure, leveraging ECS, RDS (MySQL and PostgreSQL), S3, ElastiCache (Redis), and DynamoDB
‍
β€’ Keep our infrastructure updated with the latest stable software, focusing on performance, stability, cost, and security
‍
‍Enhance Monitoring & Alerts
‍
β€’
Develop and refine monitoring systems, creating alerts to ensure system health and performance
‍
‍Build & Improve CI/CD Pipelines
‍
β€’
Lead the development and enhancement of our CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments
‍
‍Foster Collaboration
‍
β€’
Partner with development teams to automate processes, improve tooling, and boost overall team efficiency
‍
β€’ Support cross-functional engineering efforts to ensure alignment and success

Requirements

β€’ 4+ years in a DevOps or related role
‍
β€’ Strong expertise in AWS, Linux, Docker, Git, and Python
‍

β€’ Familiarity with tools like RabbitMQ and frameworks such as Celery
‍

β€’ Deep understanding of microservices architectures and containerized environments
‍

About the role
