Lead Solution Consultant

Solution Consultants partner with our customers to demonstrate Mural’s value prop and shape the demand for Professional Services, including LUMA and Consulting offerings. We act as subject matter experts in our core Mural platform and in business methodologies like the LUMA system, Human Centered Design and Agile.

Sitting in Professional Services within Mural’s Success Org, the Solution Consulting team works closely with a wide range of Sales and Success stakeholders: Account Managers; Customer Success Managers; Technical Consultants; and Professional Services Delivery Consultants. Working with our Account Teams, we bring customer relevant solutions to our sales process across discovery, demos, thought leadership, services scoping, coaching, and facilitation. 


The Solution Consultant is a key partner for our account teams. You will work closely with Account Managers, Customer Success Managers and Professional Services Delivery Consultants to shape and sell our core platform and Professional Services. To accomplish this, you must have a track record of strategic and consultative sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a sales strategy, design solutions that address these requirements, and provide business value. A good working understanding of common business methodologies like Human Centered Design and / or Agile would be beneficial in this role also.


  • Run engaging and knowledgeable client discovery sessions & key stakeholder interviews

  • Develop and deliver use case specific sales workshops for customers and prospects

  • Present compelling professional services proposals to customers 

  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to scope delivery project effort

  • Drive pricing and client proposal development for professional services offerings

  • Act as knowledgeable SMEs in client conversations to build credibility and support wider Mural and Professional Services opportunities, ex. one off thought leadership or coaching sessions

  • Expand relationships with existing customers, collaborating closely with Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to identify new professional services opportunities

  • Engage at key moments of the delivery process to uncover additional professional services opportunities


  • 5+ years of innovation consulting experience or similar field

  • Fantastic facilitator of remote workshops

  • Experience with design thinking and agile methodologies 

  • Strong experience running and conducting product demonstrations

  • Revenue driven with a sales mindset who thrives in a high paced environment

  • Experience collating, translating, and communicating the functional needs of a customer

  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Self-motivator that thrives in an ever-changing environment

  • Progressive out-of-the-box thinker who is comfortable challenging the status quo

  • Knowledge or experience working with MURAL
