Inbound Sales Associate for On-demand Home Cleaning Platform

No More Chores is an on-demand home cleaning service platform that connects home owners with cleaning professionals in Toronto, Canada. What makes No More Chores different from other cleaning services? Our customers are able to book and manage home cleaning services throughout the Greater Toronto Area – online, 24 hours a day, 7-days a week, no in-home estimate required.  Our company has been growing fast, even winning a “Customers Love Us Award” on Yelp last year. We need help to keep up with demand. That’s where you come in!

About the Role:

As our Sales Rep, you will perform various sales  tasks, including answering phone calls, giving quotes, following up and responding to emails. For this role, a computer with a strong consistent internet connection is required, along with experience using communication tools like FrontApp, Slack, WhatsApp, Clickup, Active Campaign, etc.

You should be able to deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.

What’s a typical week look like? Here’s some of the responsibilities and tasks you may be working on any given week:

  • Answering the phone and responding to customer questions and take bookings

  • Responding to leads in a timely manner

  • Solving problems and adding/updating our knowledge base and training manuals

  • Calling, emailing and texting leads and responding to inquiries from Adwords, Yelp, Homestars, Email, and everywhere else.

  • Upselling and cross-selling complimentary services

  • Assessing customer needs and recommend the right service

  • Developing relationships with homeowners, landlords, real-estate agents, building supervisors and more.

  • Calling one-time customers and persuading them buy recurring services

  • Doing follow up calls to make sure the service went well


The right person for this role will possess the following requirements:

  • Awesome People Skills

  • At least 1 year experience in sales, preferably for a local service business

  • Excellent Internet Connection for seamless virtual phone calls

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and great at creative problem-solving

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly skilled at using online technology and communication software

  • Knowledge of customer management software like Launch27 and Booking Koala, or - willingness to learn

  • Fast learner who can think on their feet

  • Excellent phone skills

  • Excellent time management skills

Hourly pay plus generous bonus structure

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Monday – Friday (Must be available between the hours of 8:00am – 8:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Exact days/hours to be determined).
If you are available Saturdays and Sundays, that would be a huge plus. Note this in your application.
