As the Director of Partnerships, you will leverage your extensive partnerships experience to identify, negotiate, and execute collaborations that align with Oxygen's vision and business objectives. You will work closely with cross functional leaders across Legal, Product, Marketing, Operations and the Executive Team to define and lead Oxygen’s strategy with key partners and own the partnership lifecycle.
What you’ll do:
Partnership Identification: Utilize your expertise and industry knowledge to identify, vet and contract potential partners related to Oxygen’s financial products, SMB capabilities and customer engagement and acquisition which can complement and enhance Oxygen's product and service offerings;
Tailored Partnership Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations with potential partners, tailoring collaboration terms to suit the unique needs and objectives of Oxygen’s customers, fostering growth, innovation, and long-term value for both parties involved;
Streamlined Review Processes: Coordinate internal reviews of potential partnerships, ensuring transparency and alignment with regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and overall strategic goals;
Strategic Business Development: Apply your well-honed business development skills to attract new partners to Oxygen’s platform, thereby expanding Oxygen's network of strategic alliances in this space
Operationalize and manage framework agreements and contracts with partners which include all aspects of the joint proposition, investments, marketing, joint commitments, commercials, business plans, business reviews, engagement model, risk management etc.
Partner Management: Ensure the success of our partners, and be the highly valued and key business partner of the partner; adapting the relationship to fit the needs of evolving business needs
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
7+ years with a proven track record of success in strategic partnerships within the fintech and/or banking space;
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of effectively conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences
In-depth knowledge of partnership agreements and legal frameworks, with the ability to effectively negotiate commercial and business terms with prospective partners
A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies
Proven experience in cultivating and maintaining relationships with C-level stakeholders across the partner ecosystem
Entrepreneurial spirit with comfort scaling teams within a startup environment
Demonstrable analytical and financial modeling skills to assess potential partnerships from both financial and strategic perspectives
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, fostering cooperation and alignment across teams
Excellent time management skills; Ability to react and respond to the critical demands of the business with competing deadlines

Compensation and Benefits:
The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training.
