Sales & Partnerships Manager

We're on the lookout for a Sales and Partnerships Manager to lead our expansion efforts and cultivate key relationships. If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for sales and building lasting partnerships, this role is for you!

What is Patchstack?

We are a group of people passionate about open-source software, protecting website owners and developers from hackers.

We do this by helping them identify & patch vulnerabilities in their WordPress sites. We also run a community of ethical hackers and security researchers who help us find and patch these vulnerabilities in open-source components.

What we do:

  • We provide a SaaS solution to detect and virtually patch plugin vulnerabilities.

  • We run a community-driven bug bounty platform (Patchstack Alliance) to nurture a community of independent security researchers behind the WordPress ecosystem.

  • We maintain an open and free WordPress vulnerability database

  • We provide vulnerability information to some of the biggest WordPress hosting companies

  • We provide professional code review and security auditing to WordPress plugins

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for an energetic sales manager who would set up a CRM system, do market research and keep track on the sales pipeline. We’re looking for a great communicator who attends sales meetings, helps us organise contract signing and keeps track on the performance of previously closed deals. On a daily basis, you’ll be working closely together with our CEO and exec. team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Attend sales & partnership negotiations

  • Manage CRM and pipeline

  • Conduct market research and discovery

  • Work on outbound stategies

  • Support & manage existing partnerships

Key requirements:

  • Strong personal interest in cyber security (application security). 

  • Previous experience with doing active sales (goal/quota driven)

  • Previous experience with setting up CRM systems and managing pipeline

  • Previous experience with doing market research lead qualification

  • Familiarity with web hosting sector is a plus

  • Familiarity with WordPress market is a plus
