Marketing Intern

DTO Law is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to assist the Marketing Coordinator and other team members in executing a range of initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in marketing strategy, brand management, CRM data handling, and content creation within a professional services environment. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, initiative, and an eagerness to learn while supporting efforts to enhance the firm's presence across digital platforms and client-facing engagements.

Key Responsibilities Content Development and Branding

  • Assist in creating, updating, and refining marketing materials such as newsletters, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, and client-facing collateral.

  • Support the preparation of visually compelling content using Canva and PowerPoint, leveraging AI tools for enhanced productivity.

  • Contribute to the development of digital brochures using Foleon and maintain consistency with the firm’s branding guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the team to refresh website content and conduct regular testing to ensure optimal performance.

Award and Recognition Management

  • Research and identify relevant legal and industry awards for submission.

  • Help prepare award applications, including compiling data, drafting responses, and tracking submission deadlines.

Event Planning and Coordination

  • Assist in planning and executing firm-hosted events, including webinars, seminars, and client networking opportunities.

  • Coordinate event logistics, assist with attendee registration, and support post-event follow-ups to evaluate success.

Digital Marketing and Social Media

  • Contribute to managing DTO Law’s social media platforms, including creating and scheduling posts on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and propose innovative social media campaigns.

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing website analytics to measure engagement and recommend optimizations.

CRM Data Entry and Maintenance

  • Support the implementation and setup of the firm’s new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, scheduled for installation in Q1 2025 and launch in Q2 2025.

  • Input new client information, update existing records, and ensure data accuracy.

  • Regularly validate and clean data to support marketing campaigns and client outreach efforts.

Marketing Assistance

  • Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator (Jennifer) to support ongoing marketing initiatives and campaigns.

  • Assist in creating marketing materials using tools like Canva and MSFT AI for enhanced visual appeal.

  • Collaborate on social media content, Foleon brochures, and website updates to ensure consistency and quality.

Administrative and Organizational Support

  • Maintain and update marketing databases, including client contact information, event attendance records, and campaign performance metrics.

  • Organize and archive marketing materials for easy access and future reference.

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

Qualifications Educational Background Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and tools.

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and/or willingness to learn CRM processes is a plus.

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
