Job Summary:

As the DeFi Business Development Manager for the Puffer Foundation, you will lead the expansion of our decentralized finance initiatives. You'll identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, explore new opportunities for growth, and drive the adoption of DeFi solutions to further our mission of empowering communities through financial inclusion and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Puffer Foundation's business development strategy for Institutional DeFi, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including the marketing team.

• Build a sustainable ecosystem and generate demand by identifying financial institutions and partners interested in investing in Ethereum Liquid re-Staking..

• Drive initiatives related to cryptocurrencies ETFs in collaboration with internal trading teams and relevant partners.

• Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to launch new products and services for institutional investors.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of institutional DeFi accounts, representing Puffer at industry events.

• Forge strategic partnerships with blockchain projects, DeFi protocols, and financial institutions to support DeFi initiatives.

• Research and evaluate emerging trends and opportunities in DeFi, conducting market analysis and developing business models.

• Cultivate relationships with partners, design and launch pilot programs, and lead educational initiatives on DeFi concepts.

• Monitor and evaluate DeFi project performance, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic planning within the blockchain, cryptocurrency, DeFi or fintech industry.

• Strong understanding of DeFi concepts, protocols, and technologies, with a track record of successful partnership development.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends, evaluate opportunities, and develop strategic plans.

• Passion for financial inclusion and social impact, with a commitment to advancing the Foundation's mission through innovative DeFi solutions.
